Russians firing up Trump supporters way back in 2015. Remember Jade Helm? And the idiotic Texans who believed it? Including Texas's Governor? When thousands of troops from Army Special Operations Command descended on the American southwest for the totally normal eight-week training exercise Jade Helm 15, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott — goaded on by anti-government ideologues, rapture-predicting ministries and alt-right internet famewhores — ordered the state’s volunteer guard to “monitor” the U.S. service members on their land to make sure they didn’t start kidnapping undesirables and grabbing people’s guns. taskandpurpose.com/jade-helm-conspiracy-russian-bots/This also..

"Rosenstein felt outright misled by Nunes’s staff. Rosenstein asked if Patel, author of GOP memo, traveled to London to interview Steele. Patel not forthcoming during contentious meeting, which helped solidify belief Nunes & other Congress allies were not operating in good faith. “Justice Department has privately expressed concern that the lawmakers (Nunes) are simply mining government secrets for information they can weaponize against those investigating the president, including the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III.” lawfareblog.com/contributors/mtait

Avenatti has these Maga media guys on Fox losing their minds...Btw: The guy in the upper left corner is Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, head of a division of Qatar’s massive sovereign wealth fund who bragged about bribing administration officials according to a sworn declaration filed in court.

How about Susan Dey? I'm not sure how she's doing these days, but I'll bet she was Trump's type back when she was an LA Lawyer.

Judge Berman DC gave Mueller sweeping victory in denying Manafort's motion to dismiss prosecution. Expect Judge Ellis in EDVA to do the same despite his questioning of special counsel appearing in his jurisdiction.

Expect Judge Ellis in EDVA to do the same despite his questioning of special counsel appearing in his jurisdiction. Manafort should be called to account for his actions. Assuming he has committed the crimes of which he is accused he should go to prison.

One thing about Judge Ellis's questioning of Mueller's team in his Court - district court judges often don't appreciate Main Justice lawyers appearing in USDCs across the nation. Some are used to having AUSAs with whom they are familiar appearing before them and presuppose that Main Justice lawyers will be unfamiliar with the local rules of practice. I've been yelled at by more than one district Court judge about why some trial lawyer from DC needs to be here when an AUSA can handle. Also, Judge Ellis has senior status and thus likely more cantankerous than most!

1) Trump Jr. confirms ‘I love it’ was in reference to dirt on Clinton 2) Trump Jr. says President Trump may have influenced misleading explanations about the meeting through Hope Hicks 3) Goldstone says he didn’t believe the Russian government was trying to interfere in the U.S. election (lol) 4) Trump Jr. says he doesn't recall whether a key call to a blocked phone number was to his father 5) Meeting attendees say no information was provided 6) Paul Manafort's notes 7) Goldstone vented about the meeting being “an awful idea” after being grilled by investigators
And lied about it...It's also wildly unbelievable that the president's son, son-in-law, and campaign chief took a campaign-related meeting with foreign nationals and never once clued in Trump.

Perhaps this is why Trump Jr. has not been interviewed/subpoenaed by Mueller yet. Maybe Mueller knows the blocked number: According to House Democrats quote “his phone records also show a blocked number at 4:27 p.m. that day between the two calls. Trump Jr. claimed he did not know who was associated with that blocked number.” That democratic report also notes that Corey Lewandowski told the committee Mr. Trump`s primary residence has a blocked phone line. It appears to suggest that Donald Trump senior may have been in-touched with his son at the very time he was planning to meet with the Russian. However, House Democrats note, the majority was unwilling to pursue the matter. Ken Dilanian, let`s talk about this. The lack of appetite for the Republicans on the House intelligence committee for digging up the truth is amazing. This Paul revere character, Nunes, who runs down to the White House to get the talking points, basically, and delivers the talking points back to the west wing. And now he has this whole troupe of followers saying, case closed. And then this woman, Veselnitskaya, comes out and says, well, wait a minute, I was an informant for Moscow, and I was setting up that meeting, and yes, it was about exchanging information like dirt on Hillary for lessening the sanctions. It seems to me they are getting right near the target zone, proving collusion and maybe the President`s personal involvement beforehand, as well as afterwards. An accomplice before the fact, not just afterwards, in trying to spin it away. And they say, we are not interested. What do you make of the Republicans? KEN DILANIAN, NBC NEWS INTELLIGENCE AND NATIONAL SECURITY REPORTER: The incuriosity is incredible. I mean, this blocked number is a perfect example of how very valid leads were not followed by the Republicans. MATTHEWS: Why would they – DILANIAN: I mean, the Democrats were pushing, get the phone records. Let`s figure out who made this phone call. They wouldn`t do it. Look, isn`t it obvious to all of us that Donald Trump would have been read in on this meeting? His son, his senior aides are going to have a meeting with Russians, he doesn`t know about it? www.msnbc.com/transcripts/hardball/2018-04-27

Kudos to Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), Chair of SSCI (one of the few Republicans who is still seriously carrying out his oversight role) has agreed with Sen. Warner that Russia not only wanted to hurt HRC but to help Trump, contrary to the findings of the Nunes-led (or more accurately misled) HPSCI. The Senate Intelligence Committee has determined that the intelligence community was correct in assessing that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. election with the aim of helping then-candidate Donald Trump, contradicting findings House Republicans reached last month. “Our staff concluded that the [intelligence community’s] conclusions were accurate and on point,” the panel’s vice chairman, Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va.), said Wednesday in a joint statement with Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), its chairman. “The Russian effort was extensive, sophisticated, and ordered by President Putin himself for the purpose of helping Donald Trump and hurting Hillary Clinton,” Warner continued.
But that last determination — that Russia intended to help Trump — sets up a clash within the GOP over which record of events is most accurate, a dispute that could complicate the party’s messaging surrounding the Russia investigations as it heads into the 2018 election season. While the House Republicans’ report also concurred with the bulk of the intelligence community’s findings about Russian meddling, it accused officials of not following their own best practices in determining that Moscow hoped Trump would win. www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/russia-favored-trump-in-2016-senate-panel-says-breaking-with-house-gop/2018/05/16/6cf95a6a-58f6-11e8-8836-a4a123c359ab_story.html

Trump Jr. admits that Trump Sr. may have had something to do with crafting the false statement about the June Trump Tower meeting "maybe through Hope Hicks." Twenty-two "I don't recalls". He doesn't recall who he spoke to for 11 minutes right before the meeting. He can't recall that his father has a blocked number. Even reporters know that Trump Sr. has a blocked number. Incredibly, he claims that he didn't go to the FBI when contacted by Russians because we didn't get anything out of it. Don Jr. will be taking the 5th Amendment if subpoenaed before the grand jury, and you know what that means according to Trump Sr. www.lawfareblog.com/documents-senate-judiciary-committee-releases-russia-investigation-transcriptsWe don’t know the contours of the case against Cohen, and it’s far from clear how much of a connection, if any, there might be between Trump and the investigation into his personal lawyer. But the stakes may be very high for the president. If Trump were in the know about the hush agreement with Stormy Daniels, for example, he could potentially be subject to co-conspirator liability along with Cohen for any charges that might grow out of that episode, which could conceivably include wire fraud, bank fraud and election law violations. Then there’s the matter of the millions of dollars reportedly paid to Essential Consultants LLC, the company Cohen first set up to handle the Daniels payment, by corporations that seem to have been eager to purchase the services of the president’s lawyer. Another of Trump’s lawyers, Rudy Giuliani, has said that the president “had no knowledge” of Cohen’s corporate clients—but any hypothetical involvement or even knowledge on Trump’s part could seed questions about Trump’s potential liability as a co-conspirator with civil or criminal offenses by Cohen. www.lawfareblog.com/flipping-michael-cohen

Pretty amazing reporting here:
Considering all the news that's come out of various contacts between the Trump campaign and the Russians, It's amazing that Conservatives are using this story that shows the FBI slow played their investigation into Trump, exercising extreme caution, and shielding it from the voting public until after the election. has now morphed into some plot against trump. Especially in light of this....
You had them leaking every bit of info about the Clinton Email investigation, while denying the existence of a Trump investigation. Who benefits from that?

Jared Kushner Proposed a Secret Backchannel to MoscowIn late May 2017, The Washington Post reported that Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, was willing to go to extraordinary lengths to establish a secret line of communication between the Trump team and Russian government officials during the presidential transition after the 2016 election. The Trump Administration Made Early Attempts to Lift Russia SanctionsJust days after Trump took office, his administration looked into lifting the sanctions that former President Barack Obama had imposed on Russia over its meddling in the 2016 election. A Russia-Linked Professor Offered Dirt on ClintonIn April 2016, a shadowy professor with ties to Russia named Joseph Mifsud told a young Trump campaign aide, George Papadopoulos, that Russia had “dirt” on Clinton in the form of “thousands of emails.” Top Trump Campaign Officials Met With Russians to Get Dirt on ClintonLast July, as Trump and his aides were flying back to the U.S. from a whirlwind trip to Poland and Germany, The New York Times published what seemed like a smoking gun: Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner had attended a meeting at Trump Tower at the height of the election with a Russian lawyer who promised dirt on Clinton. Manafort and a Former Russian Spy Discussed Repaying a Russian OligarchEmails exchanged between Manafort and his longtime business associate Konstantin Kilimnik—a former agent of Russia’s military-intelligence unit known as the GRU—suggest that Manafort was using his high-level campaign role to curry favor with the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. In late September, The Washington Post reported that Manafort asked Kilimnik how he could use his position to repay Deripaska, and offered to give him “private briefings” about the campaign. The Atlantic later reported a more complete account of their exchanges. On April 11, 2016, Manafort asked Kilimnik whether he had shown "our friends" the media’s coverage of him since his hiring as a senior campaign strategist. "Absolutely," replied Kilimnik, who has come under FBI scrutiny over his purported ties to Russian intelligence. "Every article." Top Trump Campaign Aides Received ‘Millions’ From OligarchsOn October 30, 2017, Mueller filed his first indictments in the Russia investigation against Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates, who were accused of laundering the “millions” of dollars they had received from Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs throughout their years advising Ukraine’s pro-Russia Party of Regions. Russian Trolls Worked to Help TrumpIn mid-February, Mueller dropped another bombshell: Thirteen Russian nationals connected to the Internet Research Agency—a Kremlin-backed outfit whose employees posed as Americans and spread disinformation online in an attempt to influence the 2016 election—were charged with “knowingly and intentionally” conspiring with each other “to defraud the United States.” Mueller Questioned a Russian Oligarch About Payments to Trump’s AttorneyOne of the biggest scoops in the Russia investigation came just recently, from a lawyer representing the adult-film performer Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against Trump and Michael Cohen. Cohen had been paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by the Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg between January and August 2017, the attorney, Michael Avenatti, claimed last week. www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/05/the-lingering-mysteries-of-a-trump-russia-conspiracy/560465/
