What year is the Georgetown picture? No long hair, no facial hair! My guess would be 1967?

This the beginning of what will be an ugly period of Georgetown football (even uglier than the past decade).
DFW probably anticipated I'd write this: it can be argued that those 1971 Orioles unis were aesthetically awful but to watch those four 20-game winners hurl from the mound was purely sublime!
For an even more garish baseball uni look, may I suggest the "Joseph-and-his-multicolored-coat" unis of the JR Richard era Houston Astros, circa 1980. Also, I recall some other posterior-ugly White Sox unis in the late 70s/early 80s.....
There is a Georgetown connection to one of those four 20-game winners for the Orioles. Dave McNally (may he rest in peace) was a teammate of Rick McLaughlin on the Billings, Montana American Legion team that was either national champions or runners up. Rick starred on the GU baseball team for four years, and when he graduated in 1966, he was offered a signing bonus with the old Washington Senators. He turned it down to go to GU Dental school. He introduced me to Dave ("Buddha") McNally in the bullpen at Yankee stadium.
Nevada, thx so much for sharing those memories - FWIW, my first Os game was with my Dad at Game 1 of the 71 World Series. 46 years ago today. And one in which a certain Dave McNally started and got the win on a complete game outing with no earned runs.
