Astounded. Not astounded. I seriously question the parenting of these prospects? Would you let your kids run into burning buildings??

All I know Memphis is getting everyone they have number 1 recruiting class.it kinda makes you think how they are getting everyone all the sudden? Idk it’s unbelievable how Arizona and LSU coaches still have a job.those schools have no ethics win at all costs. The ncaa better make a example or 80% of college basketball teams will start doing it. Go Hoyas.

Astounded. Not astounded. Where there’s a Will there’s a Wade. Wade Privilege

"The NCAA is so mad at the University of Kansas they hit Northwest Kansas Technical with a two year post season ban and four years probation [paraphrasing]"... Times like this, I miss Coach Jerry Tarkanian. He was light years ahead of almost everybody when dealing with the NCAA...

Top prospect for the 2020 NBA Draft RJ Hampton said his "dream has never been to play college basketball." Instead, he's joining Australia's NBL.

Top prospect for the 2020 NBA Draft RJ Hampton said his "dream has never been to play college basketball." Instead, he's joining Australia's NBL. Great for Hampton and his family. I wish more elite prospects who have no desire to spend a semester in a college classroom and eight months on a college campus would make similar decisions. Stop waisting college coaches/professors/administrators time and effort if they don't want to be there. Stop taking away a possible opportunity from a real student athlete that wants to be there and will respect and appreciate the opportunity. The game's not like it use to be just a decade ago. There are plenty of opportunities to be compensated financially domestically and abroad. Shoe deals and other endorsement opportunities all over the world are available now. It's basically a highly paid internship abroad. More elite high school players who don't want to be a college student athlete should take advantage of these options....

Yikes- insane that he still has a job! No, not really. This is big time, big money business. I'm only surprised that LSU suspended him at all for doing what they wanted him to do, in the context of building a winning program (costs be damned).

LSU didn't suspend Wade because he was paying players. They suspended him for getting caught paying players....

Very interesting article, have to think the powers that be will address this trend...
Contrast that with names of only some of the guys who are gone from college forever: Jordan Bone, Ky Bowman, Iggy Brazdeikis, Armoni Brooks, Amir Coffey, Tyler Cook, Kyle Guy, Jaylen Hands, Jared Harper, VJ King, Martin Krampelj, Cameron Lard, Dedric Lawson, Zach Norvell, Jaylen Nowell, Shamorie Ponds, Jordan Poole, Brandon Randolph, Simi tu, Justin Simon, Nick Ward, Kenny Wooten

How is no one getting that there are now 60 two way NBA/DLeague contracts. Some of those contract will possibly go to players on two ways last year or on D league teams but have to think a significant number will still go to non drafted first year NBA hopefuls. I am sure Agents are promising college players they have an in for a two way contract if they don't get drafted. Some kids will get these. Others will be stuck overseas or in the Dleague and have their NBA dreams crushed. Still waiting to see what happens for Derricskon after the Warrior finish their season!

At least overseas money is better these days. Most of the players will not make the NBA. Must be a difficult decision down the road as to when to hang it up and what to do next.

some of these guys might be able to do 8 years overseas , from 18+ , then comeback and play college football and get a degree ... or does the ncaa ban them from all sports once they've gone pro in one?
