We're not doing well today. What do we have in total offense? Over or under 20 yards in the first half? Well, I think we are a 2nd half team this year.

Clearly, no interest on this message board? Attendance for the game was not posted. Anyone know how many fans showed up for the Marist game?

Clearly, no interest on this message board? Attendance for the game was not posted. Anyone know how many fans showed up for the Marist game? The front page lists the attendance at 1,112. That seemed a little low--while I was there and the Marist side of the field was sparse, the Georgetown section seemed fairly full. Notwithstanding, promotion of the team is resolutely poor. It's the lowest home attendance in two years. Who was the last team to draw so poorly? Marist.

Harvard Club of Washington DC and Harvard Girdiron Club are sponsoring a number of events on GU v. Harvard weekend. My guess, more folks at RFK supporting Harvard than GU.
Is GU running buses to RFK for GU students?

I was at most of the game yesterday with my 5-year old, and the offense is tough to watch. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it seemed like almost all of the plays were a pass or a pitch within a yard or two of the line of scrimmage. Seemed like a play-calling issue as much as anything else.

Crowd on Georgetown side of the field was actually good and the fans were engaged. Not much to cheer about until the end of the game but I have no doubt that improved performance against "name" opponents would resonate (although not quite sure how that happens). Defensive effort was very good after the first few series and passing game did begin to develop late. Momentum had swung to Georgetown's side and it did feel like the team just dug too deep of a hole and then ran out of time.
