Would love Aidan. Seems to fit the mold exactly of what Pat is trying to do. We would have a bit of a log-jam at the 4 with Walker, LeBlanc, Carter, and Aidan but let the guys figure it out on the court.

2019 6-10 Aidan Igiehon was a force to be reckoned with during the opening night of the Under Armour Assosiation. An imposing physical presence with plenty of mobility and athleticism, Igiehon scored 18 points (several on impressive back to the basket post moves), grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked three shots in a Team Rio win over Washington Supreme. Currently ranked No. 39 in the 247Sports Composite, Igiehon looked every bit the part of that ranking if not better.

Igiehon has multiple offers and is being recruited hard but top programs across the country. Four schools have done the best job with showing him love.
“The most frequent have probably been Stanford, Oregon, USC and Louisville,” he said.
Prior to this AAU season, Igiehon took his first official visit to USC. Since then he has learned a lot about the benefits of going there.
“What I like about USC is that they develop players,” Igiehon said. “Chimezie Metu came in and had a lot of work to do, but they helped develop him into an elite player. Development is a big thing for me.”
Igiehon is a high academic prospect, which has helped make Stanford an intriguing option.
“Their whole pitch has been life after basketball,” he told Prep Circuit. “I would not only be able to play in the Pac-12, but build lifelong friends and network there. That’s very good because I’m big on academics and I want to think life after basketball.”
Yet another Pac-12 school in Oregon is making him a priority. They think he fits in well with what they do on the floor.
“Oregon has basically been saying that they play my style of basketball,” he said. “They run hard, rebound hard and dunk everything. It’s the Pac-12 so it’s a very fast basketball, which I think suits my style of play.”
Newly hired Louisville Head Coach Chris Mack is recruiting Igiehon just as hard as when he was at Xavier.
“Coach Chris Mack and Luke Murray were recruiting me when they were at Xavier,” he said. “Now that they are at Louisville they are on a bigger stage and bigger conference. Coach Mack is great at what he does. He help make Xavier last year a top ten team in the country. It’s very exciting what he can do for me at Louisville.”

Some of the things he says are imporant to him in his recruiting, a place that can develop big men and high academics, would be things that should play right into the hands of Georgetown.

Andre...you mean Aidan I assume...but agree on the west coast schools (except Stanford...but they don't have HOFer to show him the ropes)...and they're not the oldest Catholic University in the US...he's Irish, so I'm assuming he's Catholic...if he's not, we can convert him...and isn't Wash DC much more accessible to Ireland than the west coast (for family visiting, trips home, etc.)?

It does seem like we have dropped off interest in Igiehorn which is very disappointing. He is an absolute monster. With some work on his offensive game, he could be a one and done lottery pick type talent.

Yep, my bad. No knock intended on Stanford. I would never criticize anyone for choosing the Cardinal. It's just that despite Bill Walton's bloviating, the Pac-12 wasn't good at all this year.

the staff was watching him during the 1st live period...once PE engages with him again, he will see that the Hoyas are a viable option.

Don't think he is coming to Georgetown. Kid has been blowing up. He has some pretty big schools on him.
