Don't think he is coming to Georgetown. Kid has been blowing up. He has some pretty big schools on him. Loser talk. Why pursue any recruit. A lot has to do with relationship & fit with many recruits.

He seems like a great kid but I don't think he ends up here either. Haven't really heard him talk Georgetown up for a while...

Igiehon is immensely talented and will be a stud. He has shown flashes of dominance especially with his high school team. Hasn't been as dominant with team Rio which is loaded with 2 "top 10" Blue chip guards and fast rising Jalen Gaffney so he hasn't been the focus of the team's attack. Part of the reason why his offers haven't exploded into "Blue Blood" territory despite the fact so many coaches have watched Team Rio this Spring. His upside is tremendous and his skill set is starting to build.
Not sure if the staff is still pursuing but he's going to be a nice get for some program. It's also early in the recruiting process and the staff can still make a push as Coach Ewing will at least get a sit down with BIG's because of his pedigree, his offense which features BIG's getting plenty of touches, and the jump that both Govan and Derrickson made in their game and production.

Love this young man. Seems like he would be an incredible addition to the Georgetown big man history. He is one of these guys who will be better in the pros than he will early in College.
Would be very happy to see the Hoyas mentioned in his recruiting, but as others have mentioned, that doesn't seem likely at this point.

Not as of late. Top tier players aren't necessarily coming to Georgetown.

Not as of late. Top tier players aren't necessarily coming to Georgetown. Top tier players aren't necessarily going anywhere other than Duke, Kentucky, UNC or Kansas.

Igiehon will complete his time at the NBPA Top 100 Camp this week before finishing his senior travel career on the Under Armour circuit next month with the Team Rio 17-under squad. The next step will be narrowing his college list. “It is happening really, really soon. I am looking at a top eight or final seven and just looking for the live periods to get over first,” he said before noting a few programs that he could visit in the coming weeks. “After this camp, I am going to try and take my first stop at Louisville. No officials until late August or the fall,” he said. “I am going to try and get Kentucky in there and a few others around me. Maybe try and get down to Florida, too.” basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/nbpa-top-100-aidan-igiehon-nears-a-cut-list-with-visits-in-mind

Good mix of schools. He's being thoughtful, and including some high academic schools on the list like Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Georgetown.
The tweet mentions that Aidan is taking 5 unofficial visits this summer - Georgetown is not one of them.

Glad to be in his top 10 and think he is a great prospect. One of my faves for ‘19 class. That said, I’ll admit that I am still somewhat pessimistic on Gtown actually landing guys who announce top ten’s, top 7’s, top 5’s, etc. We seem to do much better with the low-key guys who keep much of the details of their recruitment under wraps. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think any of the four in our ‘18 class announced much info social media before committing.

To be fair, Akinjo was family doing it not himself.

This kind of "exercise" is something I don't particularly care for. However, I can see how the recruits benefit; they have all these top colleges chasing them. It strokes their egos.
