I'm fine with Josh, but are we handing the keys to him? Blair looks more like a combo guard, as does Mosely. The question for the ages remains--who is the 30 min. per game PG next year? Are you in the right thread or are you being sarcastic?

Great to see Josh still seems to have his spirits up after his injury and is looking forward to his time at Georgetown. It is too bad he got hurt and I hope he has a chance to come back this season and finish his senior year with his team. I don't know how serious the injury is and maybe he can get back and help his team toward the end of the season. From a strictly Hoya perspective the bigger hope is that he makes a full recovery and is ready go 100% this summer. I think Josh is going to add some much needed athleticism and junk yard dog attitude that this program really needs.

I hope he gets well and finishes his high school season as well.

www.gulfcoastbball.com/news_article/show/821663?referrer_id=12685412018 Post Summer Live Period Rankings #2 Josh Leblanc of Madison Prep checks in at #2 for the 2018 class. Josh finished his final tour of the summer on a high note leading his team in points rebounds and blocks which resulted in All League and Defensive Player of the Year accolades. Josh showed the capabilities of being a elite defender at all levels as he was a defensive stopper during the NBPA Top 100 camp. He also showed added range as has added the long ball to his perspective "bag" and will push the break in transition as he is an elite rebounder and shot blocker. Schools continued to pour in offers but the highly touted forward has cut his list to 4 with a visit to Georgetown set for this weekend. ___ Louisiana Top Team Results: 2nd July Live Period (17u) www.prephoops.com/2017/07/louisiana-top-team-results-2nd-july-live-period-17u/17u Louisiana Elite (4-2) Orlando Hoops Festival (Orlando, FL) Louisiana Elite went 4-2 at this showcase in Orlando, picking up multiple wins over fellow shoe sponsored teams. On the first day, 2018 F Josh LeBlanc was named Player of the Day by SourceHoops, saying “his athleticism, energy, and skill level are all top shelf, and consequently he is a tough matchup. College coaches were also on hand to check out fellow Madison Prep star Kobe Julien, who impressed with his slashing and scoring ability. __

The 6'7 Georgetown signee is the ultimate energy guy in that he affects the game outside of what shows in the box score. Josh is an elite defender who can change the momentum of a game with his ability to control the lane with backside help and his ability to rebound at a high level. Before a recent injury Josh began to show off ball handling abilities in transition not seen before in previous years. He also began to shoot the 3 ball with some consistency adding to his offensive repertoire which is known for aggressive above the rim finishes and face up jump shots 15ft and in. Hopefully Josh has a swift return to finish his senior year so he can continue to show growth in his abilities. www.gulfcoastbball.com/news_article/show/869809?referrer_id=1268541

Is there any chance the “ready for DC” tweet indicates he has qualified and will start early? That would be cool

Is there any chance the “ready for DC” tweet indicates he has qualified and will start early? That would be cool I was actually thinking the same thing when I saw that tweet. Could definitely use the depth down low on the roster and it would help his development to practice with the team. How does a redshirt season work if a student-athlete is only on campus for one semester? Can you have half a RS season?

If you look at the emoji part of his tweet it seems to indicate that he's counting the hours until he can get to DC. He's probably frustrated about the injury, feeling done with high school, wanting to move on to bigger and better things.

I figured it was something along those lines which is why I didn't initially comment but then seaweed got me all excited again, hahah. Hope his rehab is going well.

Hollis Thompson enrolled in a spring semester but didn’t play. I think it’s like any redshirt - if you don’t play it doesn’t count toward your eligibility. That said, I doubt that’s happening here.

Still on crutches, but shouldn't be much longer... Says he will be back this year at the end of the video fwiw. Hope he's 100%. I know the focus has been on the raging philosophical war over Mac McClung and whatever the words "True PG" mean, but I have a feeling LeBlanc is going to transform our defense -- and that's going to be huge.
