Same type of brain tumor that got Ted Kennedy I believe.
For adults with more aggressive glioblastoma, treated with concurrent temozolamide and radiation therapy, median survival is about 14.6 months and two-year survival is 30%. However, a 2009 study reported that almost 10% of patients with glioblastoma may live five years or longer.

The issue of his vision was troubling as was the concern that during a Senate hearing he was having trouble framing a question (explained away as staying up too late). For those that recall, columnist Robert Novak injured a pedestrian in with his car in a crosswalk in 2008 and cited blurred vision prior to a similar diagnosis. "Several people have asked me whether the person I hit was crossing in front of me on my left. I answer, "I never saw him."... On the next day, Thursday, July 24, there were more clues that something was seriously wrong. I lost my way to my dentist's office in Montgomery County and never found it. I also had trouble finding my way back to my office. After returning from a speaking engagement in North Carolina on Friday, I found it difficult locating my office in the 13-story building where I have been a tenant since 1964." townhall.com/columnists/robertnovak/2008/09/06/my-brain-tumor-n1388037

Here's to hoping he's part of the 10% that SS cited. We know that the man has the fight in him... Fingers crossed.
