Some Zach Randolph in his game. He's got outstanding feetwork!

My belief is Alabama is the favorite for Fleming. For what it's worth, the early predictions for Fleming at 247 Sports also list Alabama as the favorite. www.bamahoops.com

Fleming broke down each of his five finalist for D1Vision: Alabama: “Just the way the program is changing and getting better year by year. Plus the relationship with the coaching staff.” Georgetown: “Obviously Patrick Ewing is the Head Coach now, and that wouldn’t be bad learning from a Hall of Fame big man. But Georgetown has been a good basketball school, and he just stuck out to me with our talks.” d1vision.com/javian-fleming-names-final-five/

Has he had a visit yet and what are his chances of seeing immediate playing time?

A non-ranked three-star prospect, big man Javian Fleming has the size and athleticism to be a high major frontcourt player. His final five of Alabama, Georgetown, Iowa State, TCU and Texas A&M would certainly seem to back that up. Fleming has set official visits for Alabama on the last weekend of September and TCU on the first weekend of October. Fleming hasn't yet tipped his hand, but Alabama has long been a major factor in his recruitment and TCU has a good relationship with Fleming's summer program Team Thad due to former Team Thad point guard Jaylen Fisher's success as a freshman and assistant coach Ryan Miller's ties to the Memphis area. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/starting-five-four-star-watson-opens-it-many-setting-visits

Georgetown
Patrick Ewing, or "Coach Ewing" as Fleming refers to him, is without a doubt the person separating Georgetown from every other school on his top five.
"He told me how he loves my game," Fleming said. "and talked about how he could help me improve my game. He is a big man and I'm a big man, there's no one better to learn from." Learning from one of the best centers to ever play the game would change Fleming.
Historically a big man school, Georgetown would utilize Fleming at the four and the five. At 6-foot-9 and 230 pounds Fleming has the measurables of a college center but a skill set that goes beyond just blocking shots and posting up.
