As New York buries an assassinated policeofficer, the Mayor jets off to Hamburg to make common cause with G20 protesters.
Good Lord is he a jackass.

While DeBlasio is another in the long line of horse's rear ends elected Mayor of NYC, he was at the hospital overnight Wednesday after Miosotis Familia was assassinated; the Wake is Monday; Funeral is Tuesday; he's back in NYC Sunday afternoon. His being here in the meantime is irrelevant, unless he was going to be of some actual assistance to the family in the run up to the funeral.
He denounced the violent protesters while appearing at a peaceful demonstration in Hamburg. Of course, that doesn't fit with the narrative pushed by the right so it doesn't get mentioned. The shooter of PO Familia used a gun stolen in West Virginia(and the person who did such a lousy job of safe guarding their weapon was free to buy another one); A disgruntled Doctor buys an M-16 in Upstate NY (legally) and shoots up a hospital in the Bronx last week--maybe a 1/2 mile from where PO Familia was assassinated--and DeBlasio's GOP Mayoral Opponent still thinks its a good idea that you can legally buy assault weapons in NY. Where's the outrage? Where's the condemnation?
With all that gun violence in a small part of the Bronx last week, the only thing you think worth commenting on is DeBlasio going to Germany? Really?
Of course, us New Yorkers have not been as fortunate as all you enlightened Philadelphians to vote for such stellar leaders like Frank Rizzo and Wilson Goode.
Feel free to weigh in on Seth Williams the next time you feel like being smug.

They all ran and won as members of what fine political party?

If party affiliation is the only problem, you can give Michael Grimm a call and see if he'd like to run for NYC mayor as he's available again. Just to be safe though, don't ask him next to any balconies or other high points..

Damn that gunowner! Someone stole his property so he can't be permitted to replace it at his own expense!
