Impressive mix tape. Looks explosive, nice moves in traffic, can obviously jump and create some highlights. Shot looks like he has good form as well. Good for Ewing to be one of the first high major schools to offer this kid - I would love to see him on the Hoyas.

Didn't see much outside shooting on that tape. How well rounded is his game?

The dynamic 6-foot-2 guard was recently offered a scholarship by the Georgetown University Hoyas after an unofficial visit to the school in Washington, D.C.
The same Georgetown that plays in the Big East Conference.
The same Georgetown that’s coached by NBA legend and Hall of Fame player Patrick Ewing.
“Getting an offer from Georgetown was really big knowing the history of their program,” McClung said. “We went down there and we played open gym where I got to compete with their players and I played very well. After that I talked to coach Patrick Ewing and met the entire staff. I really liked their staff and what they had to offer with their program.”
McClung averaged 29 points, 5.5 assists and three steals per game during his junior season as Gate City went 23-5 and reached the VHSL 2A state tournament.
He scored 64 points in a regional tournament game and finished the season with nearly 40 dunks.

Didn't see much outside shooting on that tape. How well rounded is his game? He's got a nice catch and shoot game thats why he gets so many dunks, the defense respects his shot but he blows by for the dunk.

Kid's a warrior...his competitive intensity and on court leadership skills would provide a great start to '18 class...hope he commits soon to lock in his spot...very excited about building a roster around him...come to the Hilltop, Mac!

The kid seems to play with an edge to his game and that is something the program could really use at this point. He may help bring back some Hoya Paranoia!!!!

Seems to finish well and play hard...good prospect. Seems to live in western corner of VA, so DC may be a huge change of pace/ tough sell for family, but who knows.

I feel like we could build recruiting momentum if we land an '18 kid or two. Kids want to play with other top players. Securing a floor general would be key.
