Announce his top 10?...this is ludicrous...anytime one of these kids has some elongated list, you can bet your shirt he ain't comin' here...sounds like Landers Nolley redux...has he decommited from Va Tech yet?...final 4 or 5, sure...final 10? these kids are on such ego trips...really expect people to believe that you are seriously considering 10 schools? Can't wait for the revelation of the final 7...probably gonna schedule a prime time TV segment and announce for Duke...I reserve the right to be wrong... S4 you do realize that he's a 2019 prospect 40+ offers. Most prospects don't make a cut off list until the end of their junior beginning of their senior year. For him to cut off his list to 10 with 13 months to go before he can sign an LOI says the exact opposite of what Landers Nolley. It says he's taking this opportunity really seriously and out of respect for coaches he doesn't want to continue waisting their time so they can focus on other prospects. Landers Nolley made a joke/game out of his recruiting mocking the whole process and we see how that turned out. I feel really comfortable saying this because when Nolley dropped his 32 school tournament recruiting bracket, I was the only one on this board to say something. The rest of the board was crickets and tumble weeds on the subject until everything I said about his recruiting came true except he hasn't transferred during/after his freshman year but I'm confident Nolley's won't disappoint. Back to Bacot, while I'm not personally crazy about his game as compared to all the other 4's & 5's in the ridiculously loaded 2018 class, I do believe so far he's taking this process absolutely seriously and wish more elite prospects made more cut list earlier in the process instead of dragging it out. These kids know there are some schools they have zero interest in but yet they continue take these coaches time and energy by saying nothing and letting these staffs recruite them. Especially the elite players who sometimes drag out their recruiting into fall without a cut off list and wait until May or June (after they've graduated high school) to make a decision. His decision to cut his list down to 10 this early also says to these 10 staffs that they have his full attention and he is serious. I applaud Bacot on this part of the process. We will see how he handles the rest of his recruiting. I think his recruiting won't be dragged out as I believe he's a LOCK 4 Duke if they will except his commitment. I think he commits there before next summer.

While 10 have made the initial cut, a group of six has begun to separate themselves from the pack. “Duke, UNC, Oklahoma State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and VCU have all maybe prioritized me a little more than the others,” he said.
That was a quote from a new Rivals article

RIVALS’ REACTION Bacot is one of the most skilled 15-foot-and-in bigs in high school basketball. He has elite-level hands and is a tremendous rebounder who can score facing the basket, but also with his back to it, thanks to a set of counter moves and a solid feel for the game. Most of the talk has centered around Duke of late. However, Virginia Tech has been heavily invested with Bacot, as has Oklahoma State, VCU and UNC, four programs that cannot be discounted in the recruitment of the five-star junior. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/big-man-armando-bacot-has-a-big-decision-ahead

If I look at this thread on my work computer, tweets and instagrams don’t load because they’re blocked by the work firewall and they show up as blank.

Yeah, sometimes for me Tweets/IG show up as blank if the connection is running slow to load them. Can be confusing if the reader doesn't know what's happening.
