If so, Are they posted somewhere?
Yes Hill, here are the five podcasts from oldest to newest:
What do you do when you're ok at a bunch of things, but not really great at anything, you become one of the best in your field. Michael Hill, Georgetown University's Head of Sport Performance, recently received the highest honor given out in the strength and conditioning coaching profession and is this week's guest on Black Flag Radio. We learn first hand how he set himself up for success in a very volatile field, the incremental steps and things he does on a daily basis to continue to excel, what he instills in his athletes as well as modern Vikings, a little bit of history, and 90's haircuts. Go Hoyas!

In this weeks episode of The Podcast I get the pleasure to talking about the role of mentorship in strength and conditioning with Georgetowns Mike Hill. After a quick intro Mike gets right into discussing how Augie Maurelli mentored him and groomed him to take over the Iron Hoyas. This leads right into how the changes he has seen in his tenure with staffing and within the department have impacted him as a coach and how those coaches and administrators have impacted him, and of course how the Thompson family has impacted him and Georgetown. He then shares with us how the three basketball coaches he has worked with challenged him and how their styles have pushed him to be a better coach.

How meticulous is your coaching routine? If you’re not keeping track of everything down to the music that was playing, you need to get on Mike Hill’s level. He is notoriously detail oriented and extremely practical in his approach to college level strength and conditioning. What compelled him to hire a young Tex “Chris” McQuilkin at Georgetown University? Tex’s fresh coaching style may have gotten him the job but it also got him reprimanded for mild insubordination. Hear Coach Hill [@lichense_2_Hill] talk what it’s REALLY like to coordinate with a sport coach. He describes it as akin to “foreign affairs”....someone has to bend on something to make it work. A seamless transition to dark matter and vibrational frequencies round out another cosmic episode. When Coach Mike Hill of Georgetown University came to work at the home of the Hoyas, the weightroom was on the second floor of a building. “No drop” rules and simplistic equipment was never perceived as a detriment. It was a point of pride, indicating that the success of the athletes was a testament to the coaching, not the technology. Cut to twelve years later and Mike is still finding ways to use the scientific method in his coaching. As former mentor to a young Texas McQuilkin, Mike speaks to the qualities he looks for in his staff. Nonconformism is encouraged, boots and jeans...optional. Mike is clearly passionate about connecting with his athletes but he’s also quite the curious cat. Hear how he’s applying information construct theories to his own coaching philosophy. Yeah, it gets a little weird and you know what, we Editeding love it. Listen NOW!

Building something bigger than us requires vision, focus, patience, the right team, communication, and a relentless commitment to continuing education – just to name a few. Master Strength Coach and Director of Sports Performance at Georgetown University Michael Hill has demonstrated all of these qualities as he has built Georgetown’s program over the last 15 years, and today, he joins us on the BHP to share some of his wisdom with us. As director of sports performance, Coach Hill oversees 29 TEAMS – yes, 29 teams – at Georgetown University and he’s making a positive impact on thousands of student athletes while building a program and organization that emphasizes doing things the right way. We talk about how he’s built the program with only a handful of coaches who had to make due with outdated facilities into one that features a first class staff, elite facilities, and a leading role in their field. Coach Hill’s role requires leadership in multiple layers: from developing his coaching staff and their interns, to all the student athletes they collective are charged with molding and shaping. These are responsibilities that Coach Hill embraces with his whole being and I’m honored to call him a friend and chat with him on the Better Human Project.
