Am I wrong in thinking the closest comparison I can think of, based on current ability, is Kamar Baldwin of Butler? Baldwin has a funky looking release but shoots the ball at a high percentage. Also, Baldwin might have a slight edge in handles and quickness, but Blair looks to be the better passer. If he could have anything close to the level of impact Baldwin had last year then I believe we have a very solid 4-year guard. Add Waters back and things get interesting. . .

I would take that all day. With the exception of 3 or 4 blue bloods, college hoops is about getting the right pieces that complement each other, and cover all the needs - PG, shooting, defense, rebound. Blair is a nice piece of that puzzle.

Juggy is a KILLA GUARD. He can do it all! Do you think he's a real PG Juggy has the traits of a point guard and off guard. The questions for me are. How is his clock management and decision making, this is what the Hoyas have been missing. How is his leadership. Most floor generals are a natural.

What "traits" of a point guard does he have? I've watched the highlight videos and there are barely any passes, and almost 0 ball handling. I think you guys are kidding yourself that he's a PG - everyone I've read has said he's a shooting guard.

I don't see Kamar Baldwin at all. Baldwin is a favorite of mine. An absolute stud. Comparing anyone to him is setting yourself up for disappointment.

For the old timers on the board, the kid reminds me of Charles Smith. Does not look athletic and has a funky release on his shot, but yet he is able to get to the hoop and his outside shots seem to fall. Would be ecstatic if he is close to Charles Smith as a pg.

If he is anything like Charles Smith that would be a monster home run.

Other than the funky release, I don't see Charles Smith at all. Smith was way faster. I see more Bobby Winston with a decent jumper.

Most floor generals are a natural. he is a 2 guard… I agree. From the film I have seen of him he is better suited to the off guard position. Can he, and has he played the point? Probably. But much like Jagan he does not seem to really be a natural point guard. His handle looks good enough to get by at the high school level but not advanced enough to be an effective PG in the Big East. I like the player and am glad they signed him, but I think they still need a natural PG. Hopefully Waters is that guy!!

Smith was skinny and lighting fast and a major force for the Hoyas. If he had not been somewhat injured during the NCAA's I think we make the Final Four the year Duke beat us. Was also BE player of the year. If anything, Waters is probably closer to Smitty.

No highlights I have ever seen of Juggy showed he had that kind of athleticism. Was it on display at all in kenner league?
