Bomani Jones, cutting to the chase: "Is Georgetown a good job? Because I feel like how you perceive Georgetown as a program is really based on how old you are." Good job? Certainly. Great job? Probably not. But you can tick off a list of positives without mentioning the 80s heyday and it's still a solidly good job.

Georgetown is the Sleeping King of the Big East and better than Shaka Smart's Texas job where Kansas reigns supreme. The Hoyas job is a great job...patient fan-base, low post season expectations and a excellent salary

For those that have not listened to the podcast. Bomani Jones mentioned that when he was talking about replacing JTII's radio show He was told that JTII had the right to call up the show anytime he wanted to get on the air. That is some clout at ESPN 980 Washington D.C.

A lot of people around that program talk about "the Butler way" which sounds quite similar to how Georgetown talks.

As good as Kentucky is, we do not want to be like them with their one-and-done type players. But we have seen that teams do not have to be composed of one-and-done players. Even NC this year relies on upperclassmen and the other three in the Final Four are not packed with this type of player. I think we should be a team with players like Roy and Jeff, who either stayed four years or who came back and got his degree. Even our McD players like Austin and Chris (if I am correct) stayed four years.
