Hope you are not serious. 100%. Find me somebody with so few questions. I Don't t see much point in guessing people who won't leave where they are.

At least for the next year or two (let's call it the honeymoon period), while expectations of actually winning are low, hire an assistant coach who can teach offense that's exciting to watch. No more clogged toilet, passing the ball around aimlessly for 28 seconds. Make Georgetown basketball watchable again.

As a Fairfield undegrad, Sydney is not the answer. Our fan base is trying to get him fired as well and he has yet to take the team to the tournament despite being the highest paid coach with the best facilities in the league (sound familiar?).

Hope you are not serious. On the positive side, he has a history of recruiting guards.

I see Amaker as a candidate but he went to the tournament a grand total of ZERO times in six seasons with Michigan. If we want to consider ourselves at the top level of college basketball, how can we consider a guy who failed miserably at this level?

I think myself and the actual next coach will likely have the exact same Big East record next year.

Texas isn't working out great, so I'd absolutely take a swing at him. Just about the only name listed that I would even partially be excited about.

The administration needs to at least reach out to the big names: Archie MIller and Shaka Smart are probably the biggest names that might be a possibility. Then maybe Mike Brey (Notre Dame does not pay him real well, about $1.7) or Danny Hurley. It would be disappointing if we settled for someone like Amaker without even trying to reel in a more successful proven HC. The decision may come down to: an experienced guy with a mixed record (Amaker) or a young unproven guy (Jamion Christion , Baker Dunleavy, other top assistants from strong programs/successful young coaches from low major schools)
