Well, he's a freshman. . .we don't know who will be coaching the Hoyas in the 2020-2021 season, do we?

Putback as time expired to lift Gonzaga over O'Connell last night. Led the team with 19 points.
Should be the very top of the Hoyas 2020 board.

Playoff games being held at McDonough? That should make it pretty easy to scout some possible recruits!!!!

Certainly hard to miss this one, with those fluorescent shoes.

McDonough has hosted the DCSAA(D.C."state") tournament semifinals for the last 2 years I believe. Wilson and Gonzaga also played each other in the semifinals last year. St.John's beat Maret in the 1st semifinal earlier. I'm not sure if Georgetown is interested in anyone from either of those teams.

Georgetown: “Pat Ewing, staying close to home and helping that program, especially since he just got there. They have been recruiting me since my freshman year so they have been there since the beginning”

I like our chances here. UVA is who I'd look out for most

I like our chances here. UVA is who I'd look out for most Talk about deciding between two completely different brands of basketball!! Georgetown is now playing a really fast, transition brand of hoops, where Virginia plays at a really slow tempo and just grinds out games on the defensive end. Not knocking the way VA plays, because they win and may end up with a #1 seed in the tournament this year, but you would think that some players might not be attracted to that style of play if they like to get out and run and play fast. Should be interesting to see which way this player goes. He sounds like a really good player and it would be nice for the Hoyas to win one of these local recruiting battles.

Yeah we really shouldn't be going head to head with UVA too often. A young player should already know which type of offense he wants to play in. I don't think offensive style is the number 1 factor, but UVA and GTown couldn't be further from each other. Have to think if you like one, you don't like the other.

I would like to win some of these recruiting battles also but we can't knock a kid for wanting to play for a winning team. Our style of play will be intriguing but we will need to be in the top half of the BE to tip the scales with recruits. UVA is one of 3 undefeated teams still playing and they are still putting more kids in the L than us even with their style of play. They also have at least one pro on their team now and we have one long shot...we need to win games and kids will look at us differently...I would bet that Timberlake is taking us a little more seriously even if we just moved from 10th to 5th....

Aren't we recruiting both Williams and Stute from Gonzaga...?...some of those in the know might describe the differences in their games...maybe we could get both and keep them together...
