The "@troublshooting" seems ironic.
If Kaleb can improve his perimeter and FT shooting he can become a very solid contributor.

He's fundamentally sound, seems to be one of our better (at least most consistent) backdoor cutters, and plays some of the better defense on the team. He just seems unsure what to do when he gets the ball in his hands and needs to drive past his defender or shoot. There just seems to be a total lack of confidence in his offense outside a layup. Would be great if he could even get respectable shooting and take on that open 3-man role next year. Derrickson gives plenty of shooting at the 4, so the cutting athleticism and defensive versatility and grit would be nice to have next to him if Kaleb wasn't a total offensive liability.

Kaleb can be solid if he fixes his problem between the ears. There is no reason for Kaleb to miss so many bunnies and FTs. Kaleb's form at the line looks good but he doesn't have the confidence right now.....

While I like Kaleb, I'm disappointed we didn't get consistent play from Ike, and that Paul was unable to contribute due to his injuries. If we had gotten the Ike we thought we were getting and had Paul not been injured, I believe we would be a much better squad. We recruited well, though the outcome leaves much to be desired.

Hard to fathom what he was talking about. Puffing him up in the hope it would help pull in his (much) better brother?

Yeah i dont get how Kaleb gets run. It would be one thing if he were a lockdown defender. A guard/swing who cant shoot from perimeter or shoot FTs. Very valuable.

Honestly, he's a better fit at a lower level. Always saw him and Tre as ideal fits at VCU. I think VCU was the main competition for Tre. They have non-existent halfcourt offensive games.

Kid can't play on this level and never could. That's on coach. That's true of many of our recruits. But let's remember it's not coach's fault for how this team performs because he preaches scoring more than the other team every game.

Wow. Keep your head up Kaleb, keep working on your game and you'll be a major factor at GU.

Kaleb would only be a major factor if he convinced his brother to come here. Otherwise he is limited to a role player.

I like Kaleb and believe he brings a lot in terms of athletic ability, defense, activity, etc. Again, I want to see him play along with Jagan and Akoy as much as possible.

I like what Kaleb brings to the table. He's a tough kid and that's one thing this team is sorely missing. Will Kaleb ever average 15 a game? Probably not. By the time guys like Kaleb and Mosely are seniors however they are going to be big time contributors.

Some of you must have been watching this game through your own filters. Kaleb played 17 minutes and got 7 or 8 rebounds. He is always battling and just needs more playing time to develop his offensive game. He needs some of Marcus's minutes.

I am certainly not trying to dis Kaleb, he hustles and is willing to do the little things that some others don't. But unless he drastically improves his shooting, he will be a "hustle" guy who can give you a few solid minutes, maybe 4-5 points. While he is not afraid to get inside, he is neither tall enough nor strong enough to score over bigger defenders.
But there is nothing wrong with being a role player, every team needs 2 or 3 guys with particular sets of skills.

Everyone remember Aaron Bowen? Get Kaleb's confidence up and he can be a solid player for us.
Will he be a star? Probably not. Will he impact the game with his hustle? Every time as long as he keeps it up.

With Kaleb I can see potential to be a solid rotational player. He has nice form on his shot and he has a bulldog's mentality. He just needs confidence and to surrounded by the right teammates....broken recorded but I truly believe our wings will shine with Tremont next season......

He is one of the only defenders on the Hoyas who gets under some of the smaller guards. I still recall that steal at the end of last year's home win against Creighton. That was one of the plays of the season.
He needs to improve his free throw shooting, get stronger under the basket, and gain some confidence in his jumper. Then, he will get his 15 points per night. That's all he needs to do by his senior year to become a solid contributor.
Besides, I think he scored 6 more points than Marcus Derrickson did yesterday, so he's getting there.
