Maybe he'll want to transfer to HM level. Whatever the case the Hoyas missed out, and you see what happens when you make bad decisions!

High Major. Aka a Power 6 Basketball team. Hmm never thought of that. After all, there's no more loyalty. Would be nice though.

Of course, we also could have ended up with Trier...there are many "what ifs" that don't get a lot of air around here.

Bracey's La Tech team had to play several minutes with four players the other night in Birmingham after a bunch of player got ejected in a brawl against UAB. Bracey was among the remaining players, and they out scored UAB (which had five players) for the rest of the game, 20-16 or something. They still lost.

He's doing well.

You can cover the misses that are obvious like Bracey & Hart but you gotta cover the misses that didn't pan out like Ty Johnson & Curtis Jones too. I think III's talent evaluation let him down so hopefully Ewing will excel in that area.

Johnson had a solid career at South Carolina & Jones career isn't finished..

They aren't comparable but my point is Bracey & Hart wanted to come here and the staff just didn't value their skill set relative to others. We then chased other kids we didn't get and if we did get them results seem mixed at best. My point is the talent evaluation seemed to be lacking. They aren't all going to be hits obviously but Hart & Bracey could've save JTIII's job while some other "near misses/final two/mom loved us" types wouldn't have changed the trajectory of things. Looking forward, I hope Ewing can do better in identifies his guys.

Louisiana Tech has played one good team, and lost. They've played anywhere between 0-4 decent teams and are 3-1.
Bracey has a 105 O Rating, 34% assist rate (great), 20% turnover rate (not so much), and shoots under 70% from the FT line. So while he's shooting 41% from three, it's only on 17 attempts so who knows.
Georgetown hasn't played any good teams, and hasn't played any decent teams. But they haven't lost!
Mulmore has a much lower usage, but much higher efficiency (122). He has a 32% assist rate, and awful 27% TO rate, but he's shooting much, much better than Bracey.
Now, I'm not happy with Mulmore as a PG, but while Bracey has played just fine, I don't see a ton that makes me think this guy is someone we should be wringing our hands over.

Yeah Bracey is a big upgrade, and much younger.

Maybe he'll transfer?? to play for a legend? Unfortunately the way he was treated by former regime that ship has sailed forever. IMHO passing on him was the nail in JT3's coffin. Sigh.

I don't how you guessed this, but you're accurate and I said this when I received a text saying Bracey couldn't shoot. I knew in August 2016 that this perhaps could or would be the end of the JT3 era.
