We certainly did nothing to impress him today - but maybe with Pryor and possibly LJ gone next season, he will see the opportunity to be a volume shooter?

I suppose - I guess it depends on whether your priority is getting your shots, or actually winning.

Of course not - but not every player has the same priorities. I admit that I have not really seen Cutliffe play, but I have read multiple things suggesting he is a guy who needs his shots to be content.

True but very few kids will choose Gtown now to be a part of the programs winning ways.. Peak & Pryor combined for 41 points on 30 shots, if those suggestions you're referring to are correct why wouldn't these stats be impressive to him?

So he would be a sophomore eligible 2nd half of the season, right? If so, I still don't get transferring midseason.

Even with Waters coming in next season, there is going to be a massive hole on the wing if LJ bolts to play professionally. The opportunity is here.

Like I said, he should see that he will be able to get his share of shots. It just would have been nice to have him see a win and a winning atmosphere.

Geez his father's Pluto to his Sun - like Robert Griffin Jr. - if he fails it's too much Pops This is why I was telling people to watch it.

Seems like we are in a good place with this kid. Don't know if he'll pop, but we are right there!

You know what, this program needs some attitude. I don't care if this kid has an ego. It looks like he works hard and he is driven to make the league. If he wants to be a Hoya, sign him up! JTIII makes a helluva lot of money, and part of that compensation package should cover managing personalities.
We need more guys who show some 'tude. Tired of seeing soft teams. Again, sign him up!

His 'tude isnt that type of 'tude though. I'd say his personality is no different than Pryor. He definitely is not a "tough guy" He thinks he is the best player on the floor. I am for bringing him in but I dont think if that is what you are looking for, you are going to get.

What top-40 recruit doesn't think they are the best? The kid averaged 9.5 points and 4.8 rebounds over his first ten games as a Freshman. He scored in double figures in five games and had a 23 point outburst. He hit 15 threes. Point production tailed off in his last few games when he was done with ASU. If Peak were to leave, he would be our best offensive player next year. Without P+P, we will struggle to score 50 points next season.

I fully expect Tremont to be the best offense player next year but having Sam will make it so Tremont would not have to be so ball dominant which wouod be great.

Waters will be terrific, but will be even more effective if he has players around him who he can feed (that can finish). We have to be realistic about what Tremont can accomplish as a Frosh.

As atheltic and a skilled shooter as Cunliffe is I dont think he is anywhere near Tremont talent wise. Tremont was the coMVP of the top 100 camp as a 5'9 player. I think people are selling his talent short.
