I like our chances if we keep driving to the rack.

It's surprising how hard Quette has to work to pick up a foul. Is it though? Awful way to end the half there. The majority of the first half was very kind to Quette.

From a talent and athleticism perspective, I think we should beat this team by double digits but let's see what coach can come up with at HT. He's always so good at adjusting to what we are seeing. This not a game-smart Georgetown team and it reflects (again) on the head coach. Players have to know time and score. Two free points at 0:00.1 are inexcusable. It's been a long time since we had a game-smart team.

We aren't double digits better than Marquette, especially in the road. You just want to be able to rip JT3 in the event of a loss.

Need to take care of the ball. Better driving too, we need to draw more fouls. They've scouted LJ well and are trapping the euro step

The team needed a run to get over the hump in the 1st half and did not get it. As a result the lead got back up to 7pts.

Derrickson made a selfish play because he saved that to Govan and ran to the corner thinking he was gonna pass it back to him for the 3. I am sure JT3 has gone over that scenario.

This was never going to be an easy game, good job coming back after the slow start...we need to have a better beginning to the half

I thought we looked fine. Gotta clean up the closing out. they can shoot, we knew they can shoot, they shot the ball really well.

I think Jagan hurt us badly early. At the close of the half, the Derrickson foul was a stupid mistake but the 3 shots before that (2 by Pryor, one by Peak) were just bad shots. Jessie made one of Pryor's look not as bad but it could have ended much worse with shot selection like that.

DFW, there were a number of mistakes in the half that can be blamed in coaching issues - but trying to blame the coach for Derrickson's stunningly dumb play undermines your credibility.

Offensively we are playing a lot of one on one which is never going to be as effective as when we play cohesively.

We seem almost afraid to drive the ball at times because of Marquette's aggressive defense. Hopefully that is emphasized at half - no reason we should not have gotten into the bonus.

Leading scorers: Pryor 13pts Derrickson 6pts Mulmore 5pts
Someone else will need to setup in the 2nd half. Peak 2pts 1/6 FG's The team is lucky to be down 7pts at the half after the 11-0 start to the game. Gtown has the size, but Marquette looks to be the quicker team. Marquette's perimeter pressure has bothered Pryor and company and has lead to 7 asst vs 8 to's so far. Mosley, Mulmore and Campbell have combined for 1 assist, this is not getting it done.

Add Peak to the list of struggling Hoyas.

Peak looking like he is rushing his shot to start the 2nd.
