We didn't even get into conference play and the New Year this season before it became necessary to start this thread. "And they're off!"
Newly added information is in bold. Former Big East Conference coaches are indicated in italics. Open Division 1 head coaching positions are indicated by underline. There is presently 1 Division I head coaching vacancy.
MOREHEAD STATE (Ohio Valley)-- Sean Woods (5 years; 2-7 this season, 77-70 at Morehead, 127-150 overall) was suspended November 22 after being accused of allegedly head-butting a player last season, resigned December 15, and was replaced on an interim basis by Preston Spradlin (associate head coach at Morehead) on November 22.

Figured this would be a good place to put offseason coaching changes, which may affect the Hoyas this year. Obviously Gottfried is out at NC State already and Kim Anderson was dismissed yesterday from Mizzou. Some interesting potential names for Mizzou in this article: "Since the job has been rumored to be opening for some time, many names have been circulating through the rumor mill. Some of the biggest floated have been Cal's Cuonzo Martin, Indiana's Tom Crean and Washington's Lorenzo Romar." "Other names that are sure to be linked or looked into include VCU's Will Wade, UNC Wilmington's Kevin Keatts, Winthrop's Pat Kelsey and Illinois State's Dan Muller. Florida Gulf Coast's Joe Dooley would also be one to look into if Missouri decides to go the mid-major head coach route." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/starting-five-anderson-stepping-down-from-missouri

Easy decision there, they have a lot of young talent. They will contend for a tournament spot next year.
