I think we should recognize the passing of a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. While a controversial figure, even Mr. Castro’s detractors recognize his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for 'el Comandante.
He was a remarkable leader.

I have to disagree with you. He didn't care about the Cuban people at all. He was a cruel despot who cared about himself.

I have to disagree with you. He didn't care about the Cuban people at all. He was a cruel despot who cared about himself. He's trolling by quoting Justin Trudeau. Just ignore and move on. Virtually no one on either side of any politics wrapped themselves in glory with their statements today on Castro.

Well, I didn't think anyone could top Trudeau, but the UN Secretary General did.

Well, I didn't think anyone could top Trudeau, but the UN Secretary General did. Come to think of it, Pol Pot is often unfairly maligned as well.

That's OK. I have quoted others as well in the past to make points.
