In the space of a week we have gone from gnashing of teeth over our inability to recruit, to comparing the NBA earnings of Ben Gillery and Ruben Boumjte-Boumjte.

The fact that Ben Gillery and Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje drew NBA paychecks is reason enough for any kid to go to GU.

I'm laughing thinking about JT3 showing big men recruits film of Ruben or Jahidi White in college as a sales tactic.

Just show film of both as freshmen, then pictures of their paychecks.

Looks like he really has lost a great deal of weight. Check out how much bigger he was in this highlight clip that was posted on the original McCormack thread in February:

This should be shown to all big men recruits - it shows career NBA earnings of Georgetown's big men through the 2016-17 season: Mourning | $ 143.9 million | Mutombo | 143.7 million | Ewing | 119.9 million | Hibbert | 70.7 million | Monroe | 70.0 million | Green | 65.3 million | Williams (JYD) | 51.1 million | Harrington | 24.2 million | Reid (!) | 6.1 million |
Disappointed that Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje was left off this list. So is MCIGuy. Wonder if he still has his RBB list?

Lots of buzz surrounding the good guys and McCormack right now Is he looking to end his recruitment sooner rather than later?

” Holding over 20 scholarship offers, McCormack broke down some of the bigger programs currently giving chase. Baylor: “They are definitely a powerhouse. Their bigs have shown tremendous explosion. The way they play is really impressive.” Florida State: “Coach (Charlton) Young is a great guy. I keep in contact with him. I really like their weight room and the way they develop all their guys.” Georgetown: “They have a reputation as ‘Big Man U’ with all the big men who have gone through there. Coach (John) Thompson is really good at developing bigs.”Kansas: “Udoka Azubuike is in his first year there. That’s going to be a big thing for me to watch and how he plays. I can definitely see myself being like him.” Maryland: “The way they worked with Diamond Stone. He came in as a Midwest kid and really worked him. They really expanded his game. I liked watching him develop and grow as a player.” Miami: “Coach (Jim) Larranaga is definitely a great coach. He uses his big men and knows how to play off of them.” North Carolina State: “The transfer that Bee Jay Anya went through his skill development was very impressive. The footwork they improved with him was definitely a big change.” Xavier: “They definitely has some unique things that they’ve done. Their workouts are tailored for the NBA and so they know where they are.” ny2lasports.com/article_one.aspx?articleid=3624

These were uncharacteristically detailed answers to this standard question, so he's clearly doing some homework. Beejay Anya isn't exactly a household name. He's also gone from averaging 2.1 ppg as a freshman to 4.7 ppg as a junior, so I'm not sure I'd be so enthused by their skill development work...

Exactly NYC, and Hoyas are in good shape here as a result. Doesn't mean much now, but they've done good work educating him on our track record with bigs.. For anyone who didn't bother to click on the link he breaks down more teams than I linked and had solid Intel on most..

Young Mr. McCormack looks like he's definitely putting in the cardio work. Much leaner looking than earlier vids:

Well once he gave up football, I figured he would lean up. Looking like he might not be done growing. Looks taller than I remember.
