In the videos Karim Mane moves well, handles well going to the basket and shoots well--deadly--off the dribble! We could use more of that...it creates space. Nice scorer! 6-6 guard? The Mane kid is a very gifted player, but wasn't there some discussion that he may go pro directly from high school. Not sure if he thought he could get into the NBA draft or play overseas for a year. Would think the staff probably feels like there is a chance of him going to college or they wouldn't waste the time going up to see him. Interesting!!!!!!

Man, I am tired just reading about the travel & time the coaches are putting in. It really makes me never want to be a college coach. I couldn't imagine having to kiss the ass of 17/18 year olds to determine the success of my career. God bless this folks doing this for a living.

It’s like any job in sales. It takes a few years to refine and polish the message and then gain the confidence/gravitas to capture the room. And if you couple it with some success on the court, it becomes a virtuous cycle as long as you keep up the intensity on the trail.
Ewing has already and will continue to connect with these families enough to sign good talent. A couple Sweet 16s/Elite 8s and it can be taken to the next level.
I don’t feel bad for these coaches. The good ones make it a priority and passion and simply just get it done. We all have parts of the job we’d love to drop, but we don’t do that if want to impress, succeed and get ahead.

PROVIDENCE – Providence and UConn have not met on the basketball court during the regular season since 2013, but they have gone toe-to-toe on the recruiting front in recent years. The latest target for both schools is Putnam Science Academy shooting guard Demarr Langford Jr. The 6-foot-4 Langford ranks 70th overall in the Class of 2020. The Huskies, Friars, Georgetown, and Pittsburgh are a few of the schools keeping tabs on Langford’s progress at PSA. connecticut.rivals.com/news/2020-g-demarr-langford-jr-very-familiar-with-uconnI was lucky enough to have a conversation with one of Langford's family members not long ago and the person did mention there was talk of him reclassifying, but no decision was made. They also said that Demarr and his family were very impressed and interested in Georgetown and the recruiting pitch the staff made. I kind of thought he was strong lean toward Providence because of his brother, and that may still happen, but he is open to other programs and the Hoyas have a real chance.

As for Diara, he’s slated to take an official to Crean’s old school, Indiana, this coming weekend. He also visits Texas A&M Oct. 11. “Hassan is the toughest kid to walk through this program,” Putnam assistant Josh Scraba said. “Mentally and physically we have never had anyone bring it like he does every day. Hassan hasn’t had a bad practice in over two years for us. He has the ability to play both on and off the ball at the next level. He’s very good all around but his best skill is his motor. He’s an absolute winner.” www.zagsblog.com/2019/09/23/2020-point-guard-hassan-diara-visits-georgia-indiana-up-next/

Well 3 words into this tweet "Georgetown's full staff" I said to myself well that can't be a good sign in terms of RJ Davis...but then the next 3 words said "Pittsburgh full staff" and then I felt better...but then I said to myself well then both schools must think he's going to Marquette and that's why they are going all out...but then I said to myself I could do this back and forth all day and decided to stop thinking to myself....please come to Gtown RJ for my mental state...

Moore is no slouch either. He averaged 17ppg in EYBL.

You need a need a Plan B in place for RJ. Too much ground to make up otherwise.
