The fifth annual DMV Elite 80 is in the books as some of the best talent from the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area came out to compete in the event. Here are prospects that stood out in the 2018, 2019, and 2020 class.
Earl Timberlake – Class of 2020 (Dematha, MD)
At 6-foot-5, Timberlake took advantage of the platform as he continuously made multiple shots at a high-level. The lefty was impressive throughout the day as he got he teammates involved in numerous plays. He has earned offers from Georgetown, Rhode Island, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, and Penn State.
Che Evans – Class of 2020 (Dulaney, MD)
Class of 2020 forward Che Evans had an impressive outing at the Elite 80 event. The fluid athlete showed good shooting mechanics as he connected on several shots. The Team Melo prospect also used his size to his advantage as he scored easily over smaller defenders. Evans has offers from St. John’s, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and others.
