No, no, no, this bill is just an effort to enable rampant voter fraud.

At least the "Republicans" have now gotten to the point that when a far-right Trump "Republican" loses to another "Republican," they're accusing the "Republican party" of rigging elections. I guess they've forgotten the part where they said only the Democrats would rig elections and that Democrats are responsible for all of the voter fraud. These a-holes really struggle with the concept of counting. We're through the looking glass. I hope they eat their own and follow through on promises of not voting if Trump isn't the nominee. Stupidity (and racism) built this. Hopefully, stupidity kills it, too. It'll be much quicker than the slower moving inevitability of demographics making them irrelevant.

“Murder”? The law literally says the date must be present and correct.

“Murder”? The law literally says the date must be present and correct. I both agree and disagree here. The law says what the law says, so it's difficult for a court to just ignore that. On the other hand, the law stinks. Who was it that wrote "The law is an ass"? Shakespeare, as I recall. We are seeing too many of these BS laws whose sole purpose is to restrict voter participation in a way that tends to favor one party over the other. These laws don't support voter integrity, they favor voter suppression.

Question for the attorneys among us: Does the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 override the State law? Oh, and the quote is from Dickens' Mr. Bumble, not Shakespeare.
