I thought Josh Brown was scheduled to visit Kansas the weekend before visiting us 10/5 according to his thread...now he's changed that and is going to KU AFTER us for midnight with Roy (evidently Waters is going then too)? Why do I feel like I've seen this same film over and over for the last several years?

Late Night in the Phog is October 1st which is the weekend Troy Brown was scheduled to visit Kansas (September 30th). His Georgetown visit is still scheduled for the weekend after. I don't believe Tremont Waters or David Beatty have publicly announced the dates of their Georgetown visits yet.

Thanks...I had erroneously assumed it to be at the typical midnight madness time around mid October...

Obviously, I meant Troy Brown... ...and Bill (instead of Roy, who is now in Chapel Hill)

Another to not lose track of is Tremont Waters, a sub-six foot guard that has grown nicely into the lead guard position. UConn and Indiana are heavy in the mix for the New Haven native, but Waters is a guy that has been known for winning a lot of games during his prep career and would welcomed heavily in Carolina.

Makai Ashton Langford just committed to UCONN. If Scruggs goes to Indiana (consensus is he's between Indiana and Xavier with Xavier in the lead) then it would seem that Waters would be ours... This definitely doesn't hurt for Beatty either.

I also would not consider the above Duke site as authoritative on this recruitment. The bottom line is that we have to convince good guards to come here.

One thing I've learned about Hoya recruiting is no potential recruit is 'ours". Would love to have him but I think until the staff gets him on campus we are a long shot.

Has Waters given any indication publicly how he feels about Hoyas? Hoping we can land him as he sounds like a young man that can contribute off the hop.

Get him on campus and pray...would be a huge recruit who could really help the program.

Well we're one of his 3 official visits he's set up. He said he'll take those 3 and decide what other 2 he might take. That implies we're in his top 3.
