Will take place on Friday, April 22. This will give 14 of our runners a good chance to get some NCAA regional qualifier times. This is probably a key event, as Penn Relays are next week and the conference meet comes up soon, so we want as many qualified for Regionals as possible. All running have a good chance of qualifying.
In the men's 800m Joe White and Charles Cooper are running. In the women's 800m Emma Keenan, Heather Martin, Sabrina Southerland, and making her first individual run as a Hoya is Sarah Schmidt. Sarah has been picked by Track and Field News one of the top 10 newcomers. Her credentials include a 2:01 800m. She came off an injury, so she did not run the indoor season. Also, in the 800m is Maggie Vessey, one of the top US runners at this distance, so I am looking for a good time for both Sarah and Sabrina.
In the men's 1500m Amos Bartelsmeyer, Ahmed Bile, Spencer Brown, Mile Lederhouse, and Cole Williams, all but Spencer (freshman) are sub-4 minute milers indoors. I hope they can translate that time to outdoors. In the women's 1500 are Piper Donaghu, Andrea Keklak, and Kennedy Weisner. Andrea is coming off a 4th place finish in the indoor nationals.

Not the depth of the women's 800m, but quality runs by Joe White and Charles Cooper. Joe was particularly impressive with his sub-1:47.

Andrea got a sub 4:20 in the 1500. I think she has a 4:13 or better in her judging from her indoor mile record. Good runs by Kennedy and Piper.

The men's 1500m did not give the sub-4 equivalents that I thought it would give. But still some decent times, especially for freshman Spenser Brown, usually an 800m man. Amos Bartelsmeyer was supposed to run also, but he might be injured. The Hoyas with the DNF were probably rabbits, although Mike Lederhouse was probably trying for a time. Katrina finished 2nd (1st collegian) in a time of 15:50.51. Haley did not finish. Rachel also did not finish, but probably was one of the rabbits.
