Anyone want to take a stab at it?

I'll start
Jon LJ Paul Ike Jesse
Rodney sixth man Akoy seventh man Tre and Marcus
But this can be completely and utterly wrong. Frankly, I think LJ is the only guy assured a starting spot. Everyone else is scrapping for minutes. Haven't seen a Hoya roster like this in the III era, in that regard

I would say LJ, Ike and Jessie are most likely going to start next year. The only question is at point guard and power forward, and whether LJ plays shooting guard or small forward. I think it makes the most sense this way 1. Mulmore 2. Pryor 3. LJ 4. Copeland 5. Govan
First 5 off the bench being Paul, Marcus, Akoy, Reggie and Tre
I want to say this team is scarily stacked and that insanely deep, but I said that this time last year as well and you all know how that went.

Funny...we are 10 deep and yet no one has mentioned Johnson and Mosely.
I am going with:
Mulmore Pryor Peak Copeland Govan
Derrickson White Cameron johnson Agau Mourning Campbell Mosely That's 12!

Gosh B&G - you are so excited your addition is suffering! Probably just can't believe our good fortune. You actually listed 13 lucky guys. Praying we get much better performance on the court next year. Already delighted to see the staff grinding to save our bacon. Yes, we all know recruiting came up short this year - but this springtime deluge has saved the day. Congratulations all around.

Well this certainly addresses the guard situation. Next question will be whether Akoy can play defense and board and how much growth occurs for Govan, Marcus and Mourning. Almost seems as though next year becomes a redshirt season for Tre and Kaleb. Perhaps JT III is serious about changing the manner in which this team plays and he is going to actually use that deep rotation he now appears to have.

For no particular reason other than I like him I think Johnson will play more than most of us believe. If he can stay on the court, of course, because he fouled plenty last year.

Tough to even make a guess as to the starters, and even who will be the unlucky ones who don't get a lot of PT. What I like is that there is now a lot of depth and players should feel the heat if they don't play hard and play well. If a guy is standing around and watching things instead of playing D, then pull him and put in someone who will. That's the way I would like to see this team moving forward...

I have a feeling we are going to play a high pressure style of full court defense much of the game and that we will come at teams in waves. johnson will be an important part of that...I too see him playing more than some would think.

Plays with energy ALL the time. Competition in practice will drive all of them to better performances. Geez I hope and pray our coaching staff is charged up too. We need them to bring their "A" Coaching game. Hoya Hope is back. That means Hoya Paranoia for the rest of the BE!

I can't recall Georgetown ever employing non-medical redshirting in basketball. Track does it all the time but that's a function of the three different competitive seasons which scholarship players compete in.

Spot minutes for Mosely, Campbell, Cameron I have a hard time seeing two new players, even if they're more experienced than freshmen, starting at the beginning of the season. But we shall see. I guess it happened JTIII's first season with Jeff and Jon Wallace.

Starting 5 is Mulmore, Mosely, Pryor, White and Agau.
What, last year's guys impressed you so much you wouldnt even think of this? The above lineup goes 11-7 in the BEast, minimum. With Cope, LK, Givan and Doc off the bench, whose 2nd team runs with us?

Obviously, we aren't going to play 13 or 12 (or 11) anything approaching big minutes consistently. But I certainly agree that all 13 of those guys are candidates to play. So, just like last year, we need someone to step up their game (and/or one of the newcomers to be as good as we think they could be). Didn't really happen -- at least enough -- last year. I think without knowing whether III intends to go reasonably small (which I would define as Peak and two other guards) or not, it's hard to really determine a rotation. With the size of our guards, it'd be possible to even play four of them at a time, alongside Jesse. But that would create an enormous logjam with our bigs. My guess? He plans to play two guards with LJ at a third guard slot most of the time. Regardless, my early money is on Reggie and Tre being odd men out. It's just hard to see how they crack a rotation. So, rather than give you a starting five and subs, here's my depth chart: Peak: 30 Copeland: 25 Govan: 25 White: 20 Pryor: 20 Mulmore: 20 Derrickson: 18 Mosley: 15 Johnson: 10 Akoy: 10 Campbell: 5 Mourning: 2 Cameron: Spot I'm sort of assuming that when Jesse isn't in the game we mix and match at the five, but it's possible that we don't. I also think it's quite possible LJ and Ike play more than I've listed at someone's expense.

Good analysis, although I hope that Reggie shoots well enough to get more than spot minutes, and that both Tre and Trey step up and play more of a role than contemplated above. I really think we will need Trey when (not if) Jessie gets in foul trouble.
