Welcome to Jonathan Mulmore. Hopefully, he will play a role in our own ascension back to the winner's circle.

Okay. A guy we have been recruiting, at a guard position where we have need, commits to be a Hoya. Immediately the posts start questioning his abilities and the staff's recruiting. And WE'RE the ones who have to lighten up? Got it. One poster was critical of the staff(DFW), he didn't say anything disparaging about Mulmore.. You're a long time poster, you know that not everyone sees everything the same.. Why get upset about it? Another poster also seized on the announcement to criticize recruiting, and another gave us his "inside scoop" that Mulmore is not that good. I wasn't "upset", just thought their timing was petty, so I commented on it. They could have waited a day or two to bring the wet blankets.

Never underestimate the ability of some to find the dark clouds surrounding that silver lining. By all accounts this is a recruit sought by other high major programs. He is long and has experience, albeit at the JUCO level. If it helps the perimeter play next year and possibly brings a player with some of the Trawick mentality, then great. If it doesn't then so be it.

I like the name. Mullmore. Sounds cocky. You can easily see a guy named Mullmore lighting it up from all over. I'm thinking Sam Cassell, swooping in with a scoop high off the glass. Banging a three from, where exactly? You know the type. I'm imagining local markets selling "Mullmore style" onions. Anyway, this is the best analysis I can muster without having seen him play, but I feel good about this. At the least, with a name like Mullmore, you know he comes from folks who don't mind being discussed in great detail. Seriously though, welcome Jonathan Mullmore!!! May your time at Georgetown be a success in the classroom and the court!
