That's a great testament to his contributions - and to his future!

Keegan robbed in MLS Rookie of Year voting. Comes in second to Jordan Morris. Guess it helps to have daddy in league management.
Played every minute of every game.
Joke.

Morris also had his US exposure to promote him.
Keegan knows how good he is. And the true soccer fan knows as well.

Steve Neumann option not picked up by Revs. I know a certain 11 year old who is both hacked off at this news and hopeful the Union bring Steve home. He just needs an opportunity to play and Brian Carroll needs to retire.
Perfect fit on the pitch and will make Harry happy. Win Win in my book

Jay Heaps had one of the least creative / productive midfields in MLS this year but never gave Steve an honest shot, showing that PT was not really a meritocracy in Foxboro. New England missed the playoffs, which is pretty difficult to do in MLS. That tells you all you need to know. Hope he lands in a better spot next season. www.thebentmusket.com/2016/11/28/13766098/revolution-transfers-2016-steve-neumann-says-he-s-ready-for-the-next-chapter

Great news. This should mark the beginning of a long run with the USMNT. Well-deserved for a great player and better person.

Sorry to see him retire but know he will succeed in the bigger game. One of the nicest people I have ever met. His kindness to Harry over the years has been remarkable.
On another note, nice to see that Steve took advantage of the educational opportunities at GU to set himself up for the time when his soccer ball deflated. Coach Wiese has student-athletes in every sense of that word.
A true credit to his family and to Georgetown.

Fantastic and well-deserved! Hope to see him wear the red white and blue next year and in Russia in 2018!

Could not happen to a better or more deserving guy. Will instantly be as inventive a back line player as the US has.

In yet another wonderful moment from the GU MLS alums , Josh Yaro came to Special Person's Day at Harry's school and met with both Harry and Morgan's classes. He told them all about growing up in Ghana, going to California for HS and moving into Georgetown.
Could not have been nicer or more engaging with the kids. Answered a bunch of questions and made Harry feel like a feel like a celebrity.
In typical fashion of a Wiese player, he then thanked us for asking him and letting him talk to the kids.
Such a great kid and the best of what it means to be a Georgetown athlete.

Bruce Arena already screwing up as USMNT coach. Sends Keegan home from camp for upcoming friendly matches so he can use Graham Zusi out of position at right back.
Ridiculous waste of an opportunity to see the future.

Zusi certainly did nothing yesterday. Then again, the team is in such disarray, who knows what Arenas would do with Keegan in a game right now. Might be better to get his chance in the (hopefully near) future when there is better structure to the team and the program?

Was surprised that there was no mention of Keegan in any of the post-game ESPN FC et al. Thought for sure there would be given he's more technical, younger and has a true back line pedigree. Guessing Bruce has already picked a few new favorites (Nagbe, Sebastian and Villafana) and doesn't want the risk of adding even more new blood given the results he needs in March.
A shame.

More bad fortune for Josh Yaro as he undergoes surgery for a labrum tear in the shoulder. Expected to miss 3-4 months.
Get well soon Josh.

Not a good start to his early career - but maybe he gets it all over with now?
