The entire University of Kentucky team, including the walk ons, are submitting their names to the NBA draft.
Under new NCAA rules, a player may submit his name for the draft, and then withdraw within 10 days after the NBA combine.
No reason for a player not to submit his name to see if he gets an invite to the combine.

Not sure if I'd want a certain shooting guard to go to the combines, but the rest of the Hoyas would be well served getting some candid assessments on the current state of their games. There's a lot of room for constructive criticism for this team ...

I agree every player should submit their name but how many people are invited to the combine, 50?

No idea how many players are invited to the combine.
I suspect that three or four Hoyas will submit their names, but, for no other reason, to find out where they stand. Maybe, just maybe, one or two will be invited to participate.
Under the new NCAA rules, a player can do this three times during his college career.

JohnnyJones, it's been 32 years since the last National Championship, you seem to have plenty of patience. We can only wait and see what may transpire.

Maryland's Diamond Stone and Melo Trimble declared for the draft today. Stone is signing with an agent, so his college career is over.

Well, at least Maryland will be bad again next year. If Trimble stays in they are losing their top 5 scorers.

Nigel Hayes at Wisconsin, who probably had a much better chance of being drafted last year than he does this year. No agent.

Not sure if we have a place to put this but Ivan Rabb is returning to Cal for his sophomore season. I know many of us thought he would be one and done but it seems like he is taking his development seriously.
Additionally, I didn't realize that Rabb played primarily the 4 this year. Cal alums are hoping he will put on weight and be able to put time in at the 5, which would then open the starting 4 spot for Stephen Domingo (to compete against one other).

Jeff Goodman ESPN Insider
Malachi Richardson to ESPN on leaving Syracuse for NBA: "Deciding to stay in the draft was a family decision and thought it was a great one. Doing what was best for me was the most important thing. I am very thankful for Syracuse giving me the opportunity that they did and I am very thankful for the great coaching staff and staff members. I truly loved Syracuse and will forever bleed orange. "
