Rumors I here from high school and shots circuit coaches here in Florida is that it's down to either IMG or Montverde with Oak Hill as another option. IMG and Montverde are believed to be the top 2 choices because his father Greg Anthony a Florida resident and wants to keep Cole close by during this decision making year. Don't sleep on Dick's National Championship runner-ups University School in Fort Lauderdale as a dark horse for Cole as they are strong academically, have arguably the top Big Man and Wing in high school basketball regardless of class in Carey and Barnes and a hole at the PG spot as theirs graduated and is headed to New Mexico.
The Anthony's have said they won't be making a decision on a school until the very last moment (late spring/early summer) so they can see the full picture such as who goes to the NBA and who returns and where the rest of the 19 class ends up...

As for a decision, Anthony is in no rush and it’s likely he won’t decide before the spring of 2019. As for putting together a true list of schools, Anthony said that he’ll probably get to that during August.
“Me and my dad will probably start to lock in after the summer quiets down a little bit. In mid August I’ll be staying with him for a while. He lives in Florida so we will probably sit down and really start to talk about it.”

This Georgetown mention was already reported above, but the article is interesting.
To figure out who is actively recruiting him, you have to read the tea leaves. Roy Williams (North Carolina) and Dana Altman (Oregon) were mainstays at his games at Peach Jam. Williams and an assistant coach were at The Westtown School on Sunday, as was Mike Brey (Notre Dame), Patrick Ewing (Georgetown) and John Beilein (Michigan), who were front row for Cole’s first workout of the day. St. John’s, Villanova and Pittsburgh all had assistant coaches at the event as well.

From where I'm sitting it's impossible to see all of the coaches but so far I've spotted head coaches from Colorado, UMass, Iowa, Georgetown, Syracuse, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Seton Hall, Washington, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Miami and Utah plus assistants from Cincinnati, Arizona, Creighton, Providence, Kansas, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, Michigan State, Marquette, Indiana, Charlotte, UConn, Virginia Tech, Illinois, Rhode Island, VCU, Wichita State, Harvard, Sacred Heart and I'm sure at least another 30-40 schools are here at the moment.

Yup, Hopefully, Pat and Greg were great friends on those Knicks teams because all Cole's interviews say how he wants to discuss thing with his dad. Honestly in terms of development it doesnt matter where he goes, he is definitely playing in the NBA. Hopefully we get that 1 year.

I wonder what indication our staff is getting to remain hot on his recruiting trail. Seems like he’s a priority at this point.

Does Akinjo factor into his decision making?

How come Verbal Commits doesn't show Georgetown having extended an offer to Anthony?

Kid seems like a UNC or Duke lock.

Does Akinjo factor into his decision making? I think that in today's college game a lot of teams are playing two "point guards" at the same time. Akinjo seems to be a little bit more of play making PG where Anthony appears to be more of scoring PG. They both have all the skills anyone would want in a good PG and I would think they could play really well together. As the Hoyas have learned over the last few years, you can not have too many quality guards with strong handle
