blueandgray any sense why the Hoyas cooled off on Walker in August only to go hard after him afterward?

We were clearly in subterfuge mode, wanted to fly under the radar.

Walker seems like an overall really solid addition to the class. One of our biggest issues last year imo was toughness- we often times played too weakly and didn't have the drive in us to execute when games were often within reach. Adding a tough player like Walker that will block shots and go hard every play is exactly what we need to push our team to its fullest potential. Walker seems like another one of those players that JT2 would've wanted on his team similar to Jabril. None of this flashy handles and full court shot nonsense, just straight up bully ball.

Is he a JYD type? No. JYD could handle the ball. He is type of player that Howland/Dixon Pitt teams would have. That 4 who was a bit undersized but just wanted it more. Except he has good hops.

For what its worth. 247 CB has 4 out of 5 experts saying Vtech. However that one Gtown vote was the latest and that was on the 19th of this month. The Crystal Ball is gonna find itself in ROSCOE=HOYA territory if it's not careful.

Welcome to another great Hoya prospect. I echo those saying we have had a great sudden turn around from a perception level (though i of course never doubted the staff...). I am thrilled that some skeptics have openly acknowledged that the staff is coming through and i again note the silence of the biggest rats.. eh, i mean naysayers, yeah, naysayers. Must be tough to be so gloomy on such a sunny day.
HOYA SAXA, SEE YOU 11/12!

Not sure Rafus was happening either way - but thrilled that we got Antwan.

Except he has good hops. ...saying he's a howland dixon type is an underestimation in my opinion - and they had some pretty good players. Antwan can be unstoppable at some point at the college level

Antwan can be unstoppable at some point at the college level so were some of those Howland/Dixon types. Like Dejuan Blair. or Sam Young, but young was more a wing than a forward.

If that's underestimating walker, he won't be with us very long...
