f Isaiah were to choose Georgetown, he would have the opportunity to play for NBA Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing, When asked if the idea of playing for a coach with the pedigree of Ewing would be appealing, “Coach Ewing definitely knows what he’s doing when it comes to big men. He’s been to levels all big men want to get to,” responded Isaiah Stewart. What is Isaiah Stewart wanting in his future school? “Academics, of course, a great program, a great campus, and just great coaches and great people.” www.indianasportscoverage.com/iu-mens-basketball-recruiting-isaiah-stewart/

Recent profile from NBADraft.net: Isaiah Stewart 6’7 233, 7’2.5 wingspan PF – 2019 Stewart has impressive strength and very swift footwork around the basket for his size. He’s light on his feet and maneuvers to the basket better than one would think. It also gives him an edge on offensive rebounds, where he reacts quickly and has the touch to convert into baskets often. Stewart attacked the rim and finished with authority with energy and aggression. Overall, his post-game is raw but he has good potential with his size, footwork, and showed no hesitation to go to his jump hook. www.nbadraft.net/nike-elite-100-top-prospects-0

In the Elite 8 at the HC classic. Pat is there watching Stewart currently has an unofficial visit planned to Notre Dame during early August and Marquette and Xavier are also working to get him on campus for unofficial visits. Besides for those schools Georgetown, Indiana and Maryland are a few of the other programs that Stewart mentioned was recruiting him the hardest. "Right now, I'm just trying to stay focused on what we have right now with the City Rocks," Stewart said. During the Peach Jam, Stewart averaged 11.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game while shooting 58 percent from the field over six games. duke.247sports.com/Article/Five-star-2019-PF-Isaiah-Stewart-Looking-To-Visit-Duke--104018131

Pat needs to lay his Jamaican accent on thick. Really want this young man. And not just because I love Runaway Bay

He ran out of gas in the finals, but prior to that I loved what I saw from big man Isaiah Stewart. He runs the floor, he plays like a man around the basket and he's got hands and touch. Texas, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Northwestern and Marquette are some of his more recent offers, but Syracuse likely looms large in this one while others like Indiana, Florida and Xavier -- to name a few -- are still chasing. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/bossi-s-takeaways-hardwood-classic-sunday

With Maryland’s Mark Turgeon looking on, Isaiah Stewart completely dominated the game in the paint. He used his big body, natural strength and strong hands to absolutely dominate on the boards. He may have reached double figures in just over a quarter of action. He also finishes well on the block on the offensive end when he gets a chance. There is little doubt he’s one of the better post players in the 2018 class. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/mcdonald-s-awards-thursday-s-aau-super-showcase

Could be a reclass candidate into '18. Probably good to get him away from the Syracuse sphere of influence.

IU has been on fire. Miller is going about things very smartly down there. If they get Romeo Langford, watch out.

I am not too excited about news of the transfer for Georgetown. He's going to a program that has had a 5* Georgetown legacy go to Michigan State just this past year. There are likely plenty of people at La Lumiere with opinions on why that was a smart decision.

He doesn't have a dad who's a former Hoya player and coach who has past issues with the school. So we'll only have to deal with the regular list of issues as to why kids choose not to come here. Our only real chance here is the Patrick / Jamaica connection anyway. It's probably a plus that he's no longer in SU's back yard.

"The news of Isaiah Stewart transferring into La Lumiere this fall could add a few more schools into the mix for the Rivals150 big man. Entering his junior year, Stewart was an already heavily pursued prospect by the local schools near his Rochester, N.Y. home. This summer, his stock went national but now heading to the Midwest, I would expect for Notre Dame along with many other Big East and Big Ten schools to begin to pursue him." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/twitter-tuesday-indiana-nate-laszewski-ucla-iowa-state
