I don't think they've quit. The effort seems to be there, we just aren't very good. Nova is much, much better and we continue to make some really confounding mistakes. Oh yeah, and play terrible D. But to say the guys have quit just doesn't seem right. When you have the game announcers commenting that our "energy level" doesn't seem to be there, that's a synonym for a team that looks like it would rather be anywhere else. I see a team that is ready for this season to be over, much like the fans. Except for the announcers are wrong. We look like we're trying, we just can't play any defense on the baseline and our freshman bugs have no feel for protecting the rim at all. They make our defense a lot worse than it should.

If you have to call a timeout before the first television timeout in the first half in order to stop the bleeding, you've already lost the game. So it's better to stand there with your hands in your pockets and not do anything? Not show any emotion? Not make household substitutions to send a message? Cause that crap has worked so well for JT3 this season. You're missing the point, hoyaboya. I'm not defending JT3 here. I'm simply saying this patient bled out too fast for a transfusion to help.

As they have told me in the past, these coaches can't go out and play for them. And the losses have been bad luck, crap shoots, and teams just seem to get hot at the right time. And that player on that team that had a career-best scoring game...

The team had missed 12 of 13 threes.

So hard to watch. So bad in so many ways, maybe we can close it to 15 by half and chip away to single digits by mid second half to make it a game. When you hoping to close the gap down to 15 by the half. . .that's a damning indictment. i think it's the most optimistic I can get.

The team had missed 12 of 13 threes. Then maybe stop shooting them.

Where would he go? Borderline 2nd team all Big East player who "led" his team to an 8th place finish in the conference. Not an NBA draft pick in 2016.

Sorry, Arch undercut Copeland on that "foul". Thought so too, I thought Cope jumped the pass and had the inside position.

He is clearly at this point out best player or at least most promising player and I worry he has no desire to come back to this dumpster fire next year.

Hoya wing defenders have no concept of how to not over help and leave wing shooters wide open. None. You can do it if there's a teammate you can count on to help out, but there's no awareness of that at all.
