Men fell on the first leg and were out of it from the start. Some bad luck but given that the women won, I'll take the results on the night.

Nevada, it was pretty clear in the last quarter mile that Georgetown was going to win absent a fall. Katrina was running very comfortably while the Stanford runner was laboring and out of rhythm.

The Stanford runner was lucky that they didn't DQ her (team), because she stepped off the track at the end. I guess it is ok if it is on the straight. I just watched the replay. Knowing who won made watchin g the race wonderful.
I think Mike Lederhouse was pushed by the Oklahoma State runner that caused him to fall. If it was a heat, I think the Hoyas would be moved up.

solid run by each leg--one of the best GU performances of all time by katrina on the anchor--credit to the coaches for getting the team and katrina specifically to park for the NCAA meet

Katrina in the 3000 should be a good one. Katrina finished 7th in 2013, 5th in 2014 and 4th in 2015. Nice upward trend. She's among the favorites along with Molly Seidel and Erin Finn. All three are doubling up with Seidel and Finn finishing 1st and 2nd in the 5000.

In the top 10 in the women's scoring there are eight state schools, Notre Dame and Georgetown.
In the men's 3000m Ahmed Bile fell and when he got up it was not enough. So in two of our events our men fell. Bad luck!
