In a town hall meeting today at the EPA, the administrator Gina McCarthy was asked a question from an EPA intern from California, but who goes to Catholic U. She was questioning all the smoking going on in DC, meaning Catholic U in particular, compared to the limited smoking in California. Gina commented if there was smoking at Catholic U, where is the Pope on this? I don't know if the smoking at Catholic U is allowed in buildings and has no official smoking policy or is only outside the buildings. What is the policy at Georgetown? Of course, when I was there, there was no policy and people would often smoke in the dorms.

I have no idea what Catholic U's policy is, but here is a link to DC's smoking regulations smoking.uslegal.com/smoking-regulations-district-of-columbia/

Thanks Sir Saxa, but the link does not seem to work.

That's what I would hope for Georgetown. I cannot believe that Catholic U would not have similar rules.

I propose the following since they are all conducive to healthy living: 1. No alcohol on campus. 2. No fatty foods on campus. 3. Mandatory cardio-vascular exercises each day. 4. No carbon-burning fuel autos on campus.
I believe these to be a natural extension of the smoking ban.

Ed, I would go for that except maybe some red wine would be the exception for #1.
