In addition to the Valentine's meet at BU, Jon Green ran the 5000m at Iowa State. Jon broke 14 minutes and got a PR.

It looks as if Stephen Kersh dropped out of the Olympic Trial's marathon today in LA. It was the warmest US Olaympics trials. His first 8.2 miles were run in 42:39, 5:13 per mile.

Ahmed's time was the second fastest in GU history following Kevin King's mark just less than 0.3 s ahead. Kevin won the NCAA 3000m with that mark.

A trio of Hoyas ran the men's 400-meter dash at the Spire Invitational, clocking the seventh-, ninth- and 10th-fastest times in the BIG EAST Conference this season. Ted Foster (Brielle, N.J./Andrews Osborne Academy [Ohio]/Oregon), ran a GU PR of 49.52, followed by Nick Sullivan (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) with a 49.97 and Daniel Anderson (Ozark, Mo./Ozark) clocking 50.13.

After this weekend, the women dropped from 8th to 11th, while the men rose from 28th to 15th. Marks were dropped from last year is the reason the women fell, although Andrea Keklak picked up some big points.
