Clearly the key is not letting Dan start the game thread. Keep it rolling. Provy plays better on the road than at home.

I'm already cautiously optimistic about this game. We kept it close in DC, and if we play to our potential, we can win this game. It's still an uphill battle, but providence is far from invincible. If we can contain Dunn or Bentil, we at least have a chance. Basically, I just want the Ike we have seen the last two nights to show up, and I think we can hang in there.

I hope Patrick Ewing Jr challenges our forwards to take on Bentil. With Copeland playing well and Doc ready, I think we can win that battle. Dunn is going to be tough and we can't let anyone else heat up but I'm optimistic (surprise) going into this Saturday.

As has been previously mentioned on the board, Providence for whatever reason seems to perform worse at home than on the road.
Trying to contain Dunn, while possible, shouldn't necessarily be our primary focus given the fact that he's friggin Kris Dunn. Bentil is phenomenal as well, but his influence can definitely be mitigated with smart play from our bigs.
If Isaac and LJ keep playing as well as they have, DSR makes it to Rhode Island, and an undisclosed fourth player has a solid game (probably Bradley or Reggie) then I like our chances.

This is the game all of us from The Bay Area chose to attend in person. We'll be rooting loud and proud and doing everything we can to help the team get a W. Anyone else traveling to the game? Any plans for a meet up Friday night, pre-game, post-game? Let's do this you Hoyas!

Time for another big road win.

Things to count on: Our defense will be poor. Our rebounding will be poor. We will foul a lot. We will shoot a lot of threes.
And if Ike plays like he did the past two, LJ continues what he's been doing and avoids fouls, and DSR is DSR, we win. Without any of those pieces, someone unexpected has to do something entirely unexpected (a la Tre and Xavier).

A loss keeps us well on the wrong side of the bubble.
A win puts us almost into RPI top 50 territory, and somewhere between 3rd and 4th place in the BE (depending on what the Hall does this week).

I like the noon start time on the road. Make Dunn a jumpshooter (even if he hits the first few), be very physical with Bentil, including basically hip-checking him when he runs the baseline, and REBOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to go 5-2 over our last 7 games to make the NCAAs, so unless we want the Xavier / Nova games to be must wins, this is a must win game.

It's time for the breaks to go our way. Hoyas can win if they avoid foolish fouls and put a body on Bentil. FO HOYAS!!! Beat the Friars!!!

Multiple bodies on Bentil! Have to be very, very, very physical with him.
