Every game from here on out should be treated like an NCAA elimination game. Go Hoyas!

The Bay Area crew just arrived at Murphy's, across the street from the Dunk. If you're around, come buy us a drink! We're thirsty.

Dunn may have defended DSR better than anyone else his year. We will need a well-rounded offensive effort this afternoon. On D, we need to sag off Dunn and make him take jump shots and limit their second shot opportunities. I'd love to see Govan have his best rebounding effort today.

We need Bradley to repeat his double-double against Providence (13 pts, 10 rbs in 31 mins) and cut down on his 4 TOs last time, while Jessie needs to provide something other than 0 pts, 0 rbs and 2 TOs in 8 minutes. Our front court needs to keep Bullock from getting the 11 rbs he got last time. We need to win the rebounds battle (last time: 38 vs 31) and the TOs (17 vs 17) battle today.

So true one Govans weaker performances. Looked totally overmatched. Copeland wasn't much better. Need him to build on his last few performaces. Hayes needs to recognize the double and almost triple that comes his way and avoid some key turnovers that he made in the last game. You can't give them a 20 pt differential at the foul line and expect to be in the game.

Hayes broke his hand. He's out for the season. So, there's that.

To be fair, it doesn't say out for the season, but...broken hand, yeah, he's probably done.

I'll defer to the MD's out there on MTTR (mean time to recovery) but with the season anywhere from 3-5 weeks remaining, it's not likely he returns. Just nine scholarship athletes left: one senior, and one junior. Can anyone recall a thinner roster to work with?

I feel horrible for Hayes.
Many of us have been asking for more playing time for Mourning. Here is his shot!
Maybe the team rallys around this.

Tough matchup inside today. He uses his hands WAY too much. Has to use his feet today and his head. Sometimes you have to realize you cant challenge everything.

Should we play more zone today? If Govan gets in early foul trouble, it could be a long game.

Next man up. Time for Govan to use his minutes well, and for Mourning to contribute in a larger role.
