In terms of hoping for a Big East run, 6 is better than 5 or 4.

In terms of hoping for a Big East run, 6 is better than 5 or 4. Yeah but if you make it to the finals but don't end up winning the BE Tournament you want to be able to get as many impressive wins as possible. Beating a Villanova in the semifinals would be the biggest statement to the committee outside of winning the tournament and earning the automatic bid.

At least we'd be one of the later games on Thursday and hopefully warmed up with our Wednesday matchup. Let's look at the bright side.

OK guys, my last bracket. Regular season concludes on Saturday. Only five teams are locked into position.

Two quick questions.........(1) If we somehow win on Saturday and Marquette loses do we get the 7 seed? (2) Would we rather play Nova or X in the 2nd round?..........I think we matchup better with Nova.....

I agree, but at this point, beggars can't be choosers, just win the first game and then hope for the kind of game we've been expecting all year.

Yes, because I believe the next tiebreaker is best opponent you have beaten, and Nova would be that team. Honestly, I see no point in winning this game. Not trying to be a jerk, but if we want to root for anything else this season, root for us to win the BET. This game really means little. (Yes, i understand that you should always root for your team.)

I'm cheering (as I have the past however many games) that the pieces find some way to fit together. What I really want to see after 2 good games in a row is Copeland CONTINUING to play with confidence, and other pieces to be more in synch. At least that would give me a few days to dream that we really are coming together for a surprise monster run in the BE Tourney. It's like Spring Training, when everybody thinks they can compete for the World Series!

Give me a game where Isaac, LJ, and DSR all click together and I like still like our chances against anyone. Will that happen? About as much chance as hibbert going to another all star game.
