Would like to see the freshmen picking it up some. With LJ and Ike gaining confidence, that would really thrust this squad in the right direction. Agreed. Marcus takes an eternity to make a decision down low and invariably fouls or just turns the ball over the old fashioned way.

Guy holding Copeland throughout his entire cut, but Ike gets foul call? On that play, it looked like they called Copeland for wresting his arm free from a guy holding it!

We need a game like this to gain confidence. It is nice to watch game without yelling at the TV.

They may all be "hitting the wall" to some extent - it is a long haul for a newbie, especially with the Italy trip added in. Hopefully they get their games back, we could still be a force down the stretch.

You can see Marcus' talent -- his shooting stroke is so pure, the ball has great rotation, he sets up well down low, but whether up top or down low, he has that freshman "what do I do now?" look to him. Once he shakes that off, he would be so tough to guard because of his inside/outside ability. He's negating that right now by giving the other team time to do whatever they want on D.

It's so refreshing to see Copeland look like his old self! We are a different team when we can lead with him, LJ, and DSR. This half was the most fun I've had in a while. Granted, competition is a factor, but it's nice to see us come out focused. Still have to work on turnovers and defense a bit, but I'm glad the guys came to play tonight. Sure looks like a sparse crowd on tv though.

Looks like Ike is back and LJ continues to score. Nothing like a poor SJU team to help us with our troubles!

Keep Campbell on the bench until we are up by 20+ Every minute LJ DOESNT PLAY IS 2-4 we don't get.

Great to see Ike take advantage of his athleticism there. He looks like a different player today.

I'm glad guys are attacking the basket today instead of passing the ball around like hot potatoes

Man I hate to pick on Tre but we are such a better team when he isn't on the court.

That's at least 30 fouls in this game. The 50 prediction was a good one. Can the refs please understand the context? At least a bit?

No idea how he hasn't carved out at least 5mpg. As of now seems more like a 5min desperation play (like Hayes past year)
