With all of the coaching turnover in Philadelphia, 76ers head coach Brett Brown is the longest tenured pro coach in town. . .with a season record of 2-30.
Think that Chip Kelly reunites with Marcus Mariotta in Nashville?

I'm somewhat split on this one because on one hand, the "offensive genius" Chip Kelly ran off his best offensive players in Desean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin and Nick Foles. That was a young core of players who made the playoffs in 2013, and 2 years later all of them are gone and his offense now looks awful. On the other hand, Chip Kelly did go 10-6 in his first 2 seasons and this year had the Eagles in contention to win the TURRIBLE NFC East until they lost to the Redskins in Week 16. He wasn't as bad as everyone is making him out to be, in terms of win-loss record. There was a good chance that he was going to run the Eagles franchise into the ground with his stupid personnel moves and his unearned Bill Belichick-like My Way or The Highway type of attitude. It appears as if the ALL of the players turned on Chip Kelly so the Eagles management had no choice but to get rid of him immediately!! They didn't even let him coach the last game of the year.
If I were the Tennessee Titans, I'd hire Chip Kelly because they have nothing to lose at this point. They had the 2nd worst record last year which allowed them to select Marcus Mariota with the 2nd pick. Even with Marcus Mariota this year, they are going to have the worst record in the NFL and get the #1 pick. Let's see what Chip Kelly can do with his "Golden Boy" QB in Marcus Mariota for a few years.

Kansas City thanks you, Chip Kelly, for giving us Jeremy Maclin.

Eagles interview Duce Staley. Now there's a cure for the legacy of losing. Hire someone who helped build it. 1960 forever.

I remember when the New York Rangers were serenaded with sing-song chants of "1940" from Islanders and Devils fans before the 1994 Stanley Cup was worn by Messier and Company. In that context, the drought in South Philly is longer (weren't the Iggles playing at Franklin Field on the Penn campus in those days?). Can't wait for those chants to start.
Somewhat disingenuous of Lurie to take the car keys away from Howie Roseman last year, give them to Kelly, and then effectively rip them out of Kelly's hands and give them back to Roseman less than a year later. If you are a serious head coaching candidate, do you even consider the Iggles if Roseman is still around, whispering in Lurie's ear? I know that there are only 32 such jobs in the league, but the next coach is set up for failure if Roseman is still involved, to any degree, in personnel and management decisions.
