Are the Hoyas recruiting him? Straight baller, tough, and has a bulldog-attack mindset at the point position. They shouldn't have any problem keeping someone at his games being in the WCAC@Bishop Mc. Too many strong guards from DMV annually for the Hoyas to be caught short handed like they are now.

I know slots are limited right now for the 2016/17 rosters(only 2 left) but if the staff is going to hold both slots for 2017 then Moultrie should jump on the list imo..
What do the local folks think about his game? He looks the part to me..
Btw can JT3 get Koran Godwin on the staff?

What's up with the gloves? Is it a development thing? Or is he outdoors?

Gotcha.
Whenever I see athletes in gloves I'm reminded of a soccer game Canada and Cuba played years back in Winnipeg. Now I know it gets cold af there but this was July. And it was like low 80's during he day. High 70's at night.
And the Cubans were wearing gloves. C' mon man...

I love this kids game. Is GTown recruiting him and if so is he really interested in Gtown?

hoopseen.com/index.php/news/headlines/item/3973-national-hoops-festival-billy-preston-terrance-ferguson-co-starJAMIR MOULTRIE, G, BISHOP MCNAMARA HIGH SCHOOL, 2017:
In his first full week back on the floor since the summer due to an injured wrist, Moultrie didn’t start things off on a high note. His team did have the half-time lead but knocking down just one of his seven shot attempts from deep and failing to account for one assist didn’t impress too many. However, the second half was a different story as the 6-foot guard got it going with his pure mid-range in knocking down a couple of intermediate pull-ups along with showcasing a very composed and balanced floater near the taller defenders surrounding the basket. Once the flow of the game got going, Moultrie also began to find his big men and shooters within the half-court setting but it is the competitive edge and toughness that the McNamara standout brings to the table that sets him apart from so many others and because of it, enables for crucial wins over and over again, something that he did once again on Saturday evening in Maryland.Really hope the staff puts this kid on their list, the program needs a ball handler type in this class..

I like his game but I don't see it happening Agreed Yaboy, my only question is who are they targeting for the guard spot? Jelani Williams? Matt Turner? Not too sure but definitely been the most active with those 2.. Remy Martin said we're recruiting him hard but seeing as how he is a WC kid I don't know how true that is. I'm sure the staff would be interested in him though

From Rivals: Three-star junior Jamir Moultrie is a scorer first, second and last. A six-footer with quickness, he is one of those smallish two guards who can put up points fast, almost in Eddie House type fashion. His jumper wasn't falling with regularity from deep on Saturday but he got to the rim, made his free throws and hit a few key shots late to score 20 points in Bishop McNamara's win over Eleanor Roosevelt. Moultrie listed offers from Memphis, West Virginia, St. Joseph's, James Madison, USC and Towson to go along with interest from Clemson, Vanderbilt, New Mexico and Georgia Tech. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1836287

Still think this kid should be getting a look, ditto for Matt Turner.. The staff is on Lykes & Parker hard, lukewarm on Beatty but I think that ship has sailed anyway.. Imo they need additional options.. www.hoopseen.com/news/player/201605/visits-set-for-jamir-moultrieHis first year with the Baltimore Elite travel program, Moultrie has slid in nicely on the very talented squad, a group that is undefeated thus far in adidas Gauntlet play. With eight straight wins under their belt, Moultrie has been a leading catalyst for his team’s success early on. Averaging over 10 points per game off of nearly 40-percent shooting from beyond the arc, Moultrie has been able to show that he can score it and also facilitate within the half-court setting.

This is the big key for me, he's not perfect but he looks like he can play at this level.. Maybe Solomon can bring him along facilitating wise, he's definitely worth a closer look imo..

He could help. I'd rather see them push for the Williams kid or others 1st but he works hard and will be a solid player. Just think long term there is not as much upside here as I would like to see...

Definitely sound reasoning Yaboy, I like Isaiah Washington & Jelani Williams better also but Moultrie isn't far behind them imo.. Moultrie is #2 in the dark uni's
