Maryland is having a Radford like experience with Rider. They are now losing by 12. Yikes. But of course the pull out the home win with the help of a substantial FT/foul disparity. Shocking.

Xavier-Michigan is good game. Xavier seems like they will give us a lot of problems again this year. Can't believe Miles Davis is still there. He's like 40.

Ha, fair enough. I wouldn't be surprised is Xavier is the best team in the Big East. Reynolds is a beast. Even with his foul trouble, they were able to handle a good team on the road. Mack doesn't get enough credit, IMO. Maybe I am biased like I mentioned before, because they've owned us lately.

The key is the PG Sumner - if he's for real, I think they might be the favorites. Team looked extremely tough in delivering a beatdown, in Ann Arbor, against a deep and talented Michigan team. That win is going to look great for the conference when NCAA seeding time comes around.

X, Butler and Xavier are clearly tourney teams. We and Providence need to prove it.

I'd be willing to place money on all three of the first ones to make the tourney -- if I was sure there would be no injuries -- but I think we and Providence need to prove some things. I think we'll both make it, but Nova and Xavier easily have the talent to my mind. So do we ... but we need to play better.

I was watching somebody play somebody in some tournament in Puerto Rico a few days ago. Attendance was about 47. I don't get it.

I don't know where you got the number, but that's not what I saw. Miami is the surprise of the tournament because they're loaded with experience and they can score

Of course we need to play better and I have no idea if we will be a tournament team. But the season is long and things happen. I wouldn't have put money on the 2007 team being a tournament team in the beginning of December. I would have put money on the 2009 team being a tournament team in the beginning of December. It's really hard to tell who is good and going to stay good at this point in the season. I just think tournament talk can't even really begin until January and even then it's kind of a crap shoot outside the top 20.

Xavier-Michigan is good game. Xavier seems like they will give us a lot of problems again this year. Can't believe Miles Davis is still there. He's like 40. The problem IMO was is the lack of adjustment or gameplan by III to deal with Xavier. Nothing about that team last year was impressive enough to warrant the Hoyas losing to them three times.

Butler is getting dismantled by Miami right now. Down nearly 20 with a few to play in the first half.
