zagsblog.com/articles/blair-academy-point-guard-matt-turner-poised-to-get-more-high-major-offers/“I love playing with Matt, he’s good,” said Gak. “I haven’t really played with a point guard who can score like him, so it’s cool. He wants me to catch the ball, so if I’m not calling for the ball, he’ll tell me, ‘Deng, come get it.'”
Added Pugh: “He’s a scoring point guard so whenever he needs to score, he can score, so he can really shoot the ball. But he’s also a great distributor. He loves giving us the ball when we’re hot or we got it going so he’s a great basketball player and he just lets the game come to him.”

basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1829777Recruiting wrap: Rutgers and Seton Hall offers, Georgetown, Virginia and more looking.
Performance: A physical, fast and tough guard who is 6-foot-3, Turner is establishing himself as a legit high-major prospect. He can make pull-up jumpers, made very good decisions in transition and showed real commitment on the defensive end. He could make a push for the Rivals150 in 2017.

From Rivals: "Turner is a strong and fast 6-foot-4 combo guard who can really defend and does a nice job moving the ball. He could contend for the Rivals150 and has high major offers from Rutgers and Seton Hall while Georgetown, Providence, Virginia and St. Joseph's are poking around." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1829534

Turner's recruitment is picking up steam..
He's a kid who re-classed from 2016 to 2017, maybe the staff can make a run at him to go back to 2016..

Turner is on fire right now..
I'm not a big proponent of it but seeing that he is an original 2016 kid it may not be a bad idea to broach the subject of re-classing back to 2016..
At worst you're showing the kid you really want him..

www.d1circuit.com/news_article/show/646781?referrer_id=2570135Guard Matt Turner (17.0 PPG, 58.4 FG%) appears to be on a mission to show the country what type of player he is, and he has been more than capable of carrying the Lightning at times on the strength of his scoring ability and efficiency. The smooth lead guard is shooting the ball very well right now and appears to be peaking at the right time. Turner (2.7 RPG) has also played some point guard, looking comfortable in either backcourt slot. If there is a player on the circuit that could breakout even further during the second half, Turner is on the short list. All options should be on the table...
