Miami is home to another elite 2017 big man in Gulliver Prep (FL) 6’11″ Victor Uyaelunmo. Florida State and Memphis are two of the schools who have already offered the high-motor post, who could become a dominant player once he fills out his frame. He checks in at #6 in the rankings. www.theprepinsiders.com/size-upside-dominate-class-of-2017-center-rankings/Victor Uyaelunmo, C, Nike South Beach: Although South Beach never fully got things going against the Hoops, Uyaelunmo, a 7-foot center, impressed in a major way. The rising junior ran the floor well, used his size and length to impact things in the paint and finished off plays around the basket. Uyaelunmo was active on the glass and played with energy on both ends of the floor. www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1545192-eybl-houston-trent-goes-off-top-performersEvaluation Raw but possessing great promise, Uyaelumno runs the floor well and is a huge, true center. He blocks shots, gets ahead on the break for dunks and rebounds his area on the defensive glass. He has a long way to go in terms of post scoring, but he does possess tools. Victor is ranked #60 overall in the 2017 class by ESPN. Victor shows a wide range of offensive moves and can even step out to hit the 3-ball. His rim protection on the defensive end is solid too. Very interesting prospect. Victor Uyaelunmo currently holds offers from: Wake Forest, Miami, Memphis, Florida State. recruitlook.com/sunflower-showcase-2015-preview/

“Pitt started recruiting me in the spring, right about the time the new staff took over,” said Uyaelunmo. “Coach Stallings and Coach Sutton have been my main contacts. Coach Stallings started to recruit me when he was at Vanderbilt and Coach Sutton was looking at me when he was at Georgetown.” Pitt, Tennessee, USC, Miami (FL) and Georgetown are some of the main players for his services. www.pittsburghpostgame.com/shooter-darryl-morsell-tower/

Not going to lie thought this kid was going to be a beast when I saw him play against Trey Mourning 2 years ago. Very talented but thought he would be further along at this stage tbh... Still the potential is def there
