Delaware Senator Coons says today that Democrats will not vote to fund the government without a deal on DACA. Or put another way, we will endanger 300,000,000 for the benefit of 800,000 (soon to be Democratic voters). Times Elvado has complained about safety and Republican attempts to shutdown the government : 0

Just parroting back what I have always heard from Democrats about shutting down the government. I assume it is equally dangerous now as then. But protecting the Dreamers makes it all okay Huh?

AKA the M.O. of the Trump Presidency to date (although the number of beneficiaries may not even be that high). May well be true, but Senator Coons and his party are better than that, no? They are better. They're actually sticking up for some "forgotten men and women" who have been failed by the Trump administration. Good for them. And - for what it's worth - you are aware that very few people (let alone 300 million) are actually endangered by a government shutdown, right?

Times Elvado has complained about safety and Republican attempts to shutdown the government : 0 Consider it a victory that Elvado tacitly admits that the federal government provides beneficial services to the American public!! I wonder if the special counsel has to be furloughed or is his office and staff considered essential! Federal workers deemed “essential” would stay on the job and key government functions — such as national security operations and law enforcement work — remain up and running. www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/01/16/how-would-government-shutdown-affect-you/1036551001/On a humorous note, I was furloughed in 1995 (thanks Newt Gingrich!) when I was in Civil Division, DOJ, and considered non-essential. Me and colleagues from several different components of Civil Division headed straight to the Old Ebbitt Grill at about 10:45 in the morning after receiving my furlough notice as it was illegal to volunteer for the USG and we had to depart the workplace. Ten hours later, we'd run up a tab of over $6,000 which I put on my Amex and took cash from my colleagues. The following December 1996 I received a Christmas gift card from the Clyde's Restaurant Group worth $100 for being a top 100 customer in 1995 -- which I promptly spent at 1789 with a lady friend.

How very meta of you.

How very meta of you. Not to worry, the job of pointing out Republican hypocrisy is well handled by all Democrats and most of what passes for a media...

Hypocrisy would require a level of sincerity that trolls like Elvado don't have.

Not sure how it's a personal attack when you admit your posting here is pure trolling. Do I have to dig up all of the "I do it to get a rise out of you guys" posts you've made over the past decade?
The argument here you've adopted is that Democrats should fund the government because safety, you don't want to defend the position because you're "just parroting back what I have always heard from Democrats about shutting down the government" and if we go back to 2009, we can find lots of times where you make the argument that since Democrats have the majority, why do they need Republican votes - they should take on responsibility. I'd call you on the hypocrisy of that, but what's the point? Am I really supposed to believe that you have a strong opinion on what constitutes responsible legislative governance? Or is it just a yarn ball that you're rolling out to see who'll bat at it?
The level of disingenuousness you post with daily is hard to measure.
